SAP IS-U Lead – Client Contact Center
THE WORK
At Accenture, we are shaping the future of utilities. We are looking for a Senior S/4 Utilities Consultant with a strong track record to lead complex transformations and deliver high-impact SAP solutions.
In this role, you will operate as a between business stakeholders and delivery teams – which is key, ensuring that S/4 Utilities solutions directly support critical water utility processes. You will take ownership of translating business demand into scalable, high-quality system solutions while driving delivery excellence across the full lifecycle.
You will join a dynamic environment where business process expertise, SAP technology, and DevOps delivery come together to modernize utility landscapes and enable sustainable, efficient operations.
YOUR ROLE
You will act as a thought leader and trusted advisor, bringing deep S/4 Utilities expertise combined with strong stakeholder management and delivery coordination capabilities.
Key responsibilities include:
Acting as the single point of contact (SPOC) for S/4 Utilities-related initiatives within your domain
Bridging business stakeholders with offshore/onshore delivery teams
Translating utility business needs into end-to-end SAP solutions
Driving demand intake, prioritization, and delivery planning within Agile/DevOps frameworks
Leading design, configuration, testing, and deployment activities
Ensuring quality, governance, compliance, and change management adherence
Managing risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations proactively
Driving continuous improvement across processes, systems, and delivery ways of working
You will take a leading role in enabling efficient operations across core utility processes such as billing, metering, contract management, and integration with finance.
PEOPLE
You will collaborate with highly skilled professionals across Accenture and client organizations. As a senior team member, you will:
Build and maintain strong client relationships at multiple levels
Facilitate workshops and guide business stakeholders in decision-making
Coordinate distributed teams and drive delivery through influence and leadership

PROCESS
You will be responsible for end-to-end delivery excellence, ensuring that S/4 Utilities solutions are aligned with business objectives and delivered with speed and quality.
Core focus areas include:
Contract management
Tariff structure & rate determination
Complex daily billing scenario's
Regulatory specifics
Meter-to-cash processes (including billing & invoicing)
Device and meter management
Move processes (move-in/move-out)
Exception handling and regulatory compliance
Integration with SAP Finance and related domains
You will drive structured delivery by managing:
Backlog prioritization and sprint/release planning
Functional design and solution validation
Test coordination and defect resolution
Deployment, hypercare, and operational support
TECHNOLOGY
You bring strong expertise in S/4 Utilities and its integration landscape, enabling you to advise clients on system architecture, design decisions, and transformation paths.
You understand how S/4 Utilities connect with:
SAP FICA / SAP Finance
SAP S/4HANA environments
Customer service (SAP CX – Customer Service) and operational systems
Broader utility IT landscapes
Experience with DevOps, Agile delivery models, and S/4HANA transformations will allow you to operate effectively in modern delivery environments.
DATA & GOVERNANCE
You will ensure transparency and control across delivery by:
Providing structured status reporting and KPI tracking
Managing risks, issues, and dependencies
Ensuring adherence to IT governance, compliance, and audit requirements
Driving continuous improvement based on data insights and performance metrics

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Minimum 5–7 years of S/4 Utilities experience
Proven experience in the Utilities sector, preferably Water
Strong expertise in:
Billing & invoicing
Device and meter management
Customer & contract management
Operational support processes
Experience delivering end-to-end SAP implementations or AMS engagements
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience working with distributed/offshore delivery teams
Fluent in English (Dutch is a very strong plus)
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE
Experience with SAP FICA / SAP Finance integration
Experience with S/4HANA transformations
Experience in Agile / DevOps delivery
Knowledge of governance, release management, and QA processes
Experience leading teams or acting in a SPOC / Lead role
