Job Title - GCC Technology Advisory Manager

Job Summary:

  • Manage defined workstreams within GCC strategy and digital transformation engagements, taking responsibility for structuring the approach, shaping the analysis, and delivering high-quality outputs within agreed timelines along with budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Own and lead projects – guiding team, reviewing outputs, and ensuring coherence across deliverables at the workstream level
  • Prepare client presentations, workshop materials, and proposal sections independently, contributing actively to client discussions and working sessions
  • Develop business cases, cost analyses, value realization frameworks, and support models for GCC setup and digital strategy assignments
  • Apply a technology and business perspective across GCC processes, IT governance design, KPI and maturity frameworks, and emerging areas such as AI-enabled transformation
  • Contribute to business development efforts through research, pitch preparation, and proposal development and managing BD cycles
  • Excel as a long-term trusted advisor and partner by providing thought leadership and profound knowledge of market trends.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • GCC Strategy and Setup: lead analysis of BOT/ABO setup models, location and sourcing strategy, GCC tooling landscape assessment, capability maturity evaluation, and process taxonomy design for new GCC entities
  • Cost Analysis and Value Realization: develop detailed cost models covering setup costs, run-rate costs, and total cost of ownership for GCC and technology transformation scenarios; build value realization frameworks that track benefit delivery against investment over time, incorporating productivity, quality, and strategic value levers
  • KPI Design and Performance Frameworks: design KPI frameworks for GCC performance management, covering operational, delivery, financial, and strategic metrics; develop KPI dashboards and reporting cadences aligned to governance structures
  • Capability Maturity Assessment: conduct structured maturity assessments across GCC functions, IT processes, and technology capabilities; translate findings into prioritized improvement roadmaps with clear ownership and timelines
  • GCC Processes and Tooling: Design GCC-specific operating processes including demand management, project intake, service catalogues, and performance reporting; assess and recommend tooling platforms (ITSM, PPM, reporting) suited to GCC operating contexts
  • IT Governance Design: Design IT governance frameworks for GCC and enterprise technology contexts, including governance councils, decision rights, escalation structures, and policy frameworks aligned to organizational objectives
  • RACI and Interaction Model Design: Develop RACI matrices and IT interaction models defining roles, responsibilities, and collaboration patterns between the GCC, parent organization, business units, and third-party vendors
  • Operating Model Design: Design integrated IT operating models for GCC setups including organizational structure options, service delivery models, and transition planning considerations
  • AI in SDLC: Contribute to assessments and recommendations on AI integration into software development lifecycles within GCC contexts – covering AI-assisted coding, automated testing, and intelligent release management

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • 7–10 years of total experience in strategy consulting, technology advisory, or in-house corporate strategy; experience at a top-tier or Big 4 firm preferred
  • Experience leading workstreams in GCC strategy, digital transformation, or technology operating model engagements
  • Working knowledge of at least 2–3 of the following: GCC/Captive Center setup, Digital & Technology Strategy, IT Governance, Operating Model Design, IT Shared Services,  Sourcing Strategy, Agile Transformation
  • Ability to build and interpret cost models, TCO analyses, and value realization frameworks for technology and GCC transformation contexts
  • Experience designing KPI frameworks and performance measurement structures; ability to translate strategic objectives into measurable operational metrics
  • Familiarity with maturity assessment approaches – capability, process, or technology maturity – and ability to develop actionable improvement roadmaps from findings
  • Familiarity with IT governance frameworks (e.g. COBIT, ITIL) and ability to design practical governance structures including RACI models and interaction frameworks
  • Understanding of GCC tooling ecosystems – ITSM platforms, project portfolio management tools, reporting and analytics platforms
  • Awareness of AI adoption in software delivery including AI-assisted development tools and their implications for GCC workforce and process design
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; exposure to data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau); strong structured communication and presentation skills
