You Are:
A passionate copy expert that is well versed in pharma regulatory compliance. You know how to get patients and health care providers to act through your creative understanding of bridging business objectives with audience needs. You consider yourself as a self-starter who writes clear, engaging content in a variety of voices and tones. A natural communicator who is adept at capturing interest and building trust.
You have experience with developing copy for the life sciences industry, across brands and manufacturers. You know how to collaborate and innovate with Art Directors, Designers and brands to take content to the next level and grow engagement numbers through creating relevant experiences. Listen deeply. The Work:
- Creative Content Development:
Conceptualize and produce compelling copy that drives action for both print and digital channels, ensuring alignment with key strategic objectives. - Strategic Presentation:
Present ideas and creative solutions with clarity, showcasing the strategy behind your work and explaining how the copy achieves intended outcomes. - Regulatory Compliance:
Own copy creation from inception to execution, collaborating closely with account teams, design teams, and clients. Ensure compliance with FDA and/or PAAB requirements, annotating claims with appropriate research and maintaining impeccable grammar and spelling throughout. - Brand Alignment:
Leverage brand guidelines to ensure coherence in tone, voice, and segmentation for targeted customer experiences. - Revisions and Timelines:
Revise copy based on client, account, and compliance team feedback while adhering to schedule requirements, ensuring high-quality deliverables meet deadlines. - Generative AI Integration:
Utilize Gen AI platforms and tools where applicable to enhance content creation processes. - SEO Optimization:
Develop SEO-focused content to amplify discoverability and rankings across digital channels.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
- Minimum of 3 years of medical copy development expertise, with success in crafting persuasive content for diverse healthcare audiences (HCPs, patients, caregivers, etc.).
- Include your creative portfolio showcasing your expertise in both print and digital channels. Your portfolio should highlight your ability to craft work that drives action and delivers impactful results.
- In-depth experience creating impactful campaigns and educational materials tailored for pharmaceutical brands.
- Ability to work within teams, manage timelines and deliver high quality work.
- Hands-on experience creating compliance-ready content for FDA submission.
- English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the common language. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.
- A minimum of a high school diploma or GED/CAEC.
Bonus Points If:
- A university degree in a relevant field.
- Familiarity with PAAB guidelines for content development.
- Hands-on experience working with vaccine brands and products.
- A deep understanding of motivating and engaging HCPs and patient audiences to drive meaningful action and connection.
- A developed eye for visual composition and design, complementing your copywriting skills to execute bold creative visions.
- Comprehensive knowledge of pharma regulatory compliance, with expertise in developing a broad range of HCP and patient-facing materials.
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location,
role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time
employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.
