You’re as comfortable working in teams and leading projects as you are diving into the details of workstreams and configuring SAP solutions. And you’re up for traveling regularly to client sites.
The work:

Develop and implement data archiving strategies, design / implement archiving solutions and oversee the migration of legacy historical data from SAP systems into data storage solutions such as Open Text

Lead end-to-end SAP data archiving and ILM initiatives across SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA and SAP BW/4 HANA landscapes using On-premises or Cloud architecture.

Manage the full lifecycle of data archiving projects and ensure optimal system performance and data compliance by managing requirements, deployments, testing cycles, and production support through execution of archiving runs.

Conduct detailed archiving assessments, and recommend strategies for data growth management, database performance tuning and data archiving.

Integrate SAP with OpenText ECM platforms and provide administrative support to SAP basis.

Reduction in database size, enhance system performance, and align data management practices with business and regulatory requirements

Support data cleansing assessment prior to S/4HANA migration by identifying and purging obsolete & redundant data, identify and resolve issues related to data retention, and maintain documentation for audit and compliance purposes.

Drive best practices for data retention, data destruction through Hot, Warm and Cold layers of organization data

Involvement in maintenance projects, major incident management, change requests, and production cutover activities.

Collaborate with technical teams to optimize storage solutions and troubleshoot challenges during migration and archiving activities.

Proactive communication with project teams, advising on best practices, and keeping up-to-date with SAP data archiving tools and regulatory requirements

Provide guidance and training to end-users, ensuring smooth adoption of archiving solutions.
Basic Qualifications:

Minimum 4 years of experience delivering SAP Archiving and Data Migration solutions

Bachelor’s degree or completion of a college program in a related discipline
-
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance
-
English is required for this position as this role will regularly interact with stakeholders across Canada, US and other countries across our Global footprint where English is the common language. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking stakeholders, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement
Preferred Qualifications:

Advanced proficiency in Value Analysis and Prioritization, Application Lifecycle Management, Technology Assessment, and Systems Development Lifecycle.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders

Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location,
