Job Summary

As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business processes and application requirements. A typical day involves collaborating with team members to understand project needs, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring that applications function seamlessly to support business objectives. You will also participate in testing and troubleshooting to ensure that the applications function seamlessly within the business environment, contributing to the overall success of the projects you are involved in.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Configure and develop Conga CPQ components: Product Catalog, Bundles/Options, Attributes, Pricing/Discounting, Promotions, Constraint Rules, Advanced Approvals, and Cart/Quote behaviors.
  • Build and optimize Price Matrices, Price Rules, Workflow, and cart calculations for performance and accuracy.
  • Implement custom logic using Apex, Triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC) or C# code for Conga RLP/ Turbo cart where Conga/SFDC configuration is insufficient.
  • Implement and optimize callback classes for Pricing, Validation, Approvals, etc.
  • Integrate CPQ with CLM, Billing, ERP, and external pricing/tax engines (e.g., Avalara) via REST/Platform events, MuleSoft, or middleware.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
  • Partner with QA to define test scenarios; fix defects and optimize CPQ performance (cart load, rules execution time).
  • Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and assist in UAT.
  • Responsible for code deployment using the DevOps tool like (Copado/Gearset/Flosum/Azure DevOps/SFDX) with strong CI/CD governance and environment management.
  • Perform essential data migration operations along with Conga org setup and enablement.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation and training materials.
  • Demonstrate abilities to effectively communicate ideas and to mentor less experienced team members.
  • Act as the key trouble-shooter in complex/escalated incidents


 

Professional and Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Salesforce Conga CPQ or Conga RLP with minimum of 2+ years hands-on with Conga CPQ
  • Understanding CPQ product configuration, pricing, quoting, and approval processes.
  • Knowledge of Conga Composer & Document Generation tools is good to have.
  • Experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components (Aura/LWC) and C# will be a plus.
  • Experienced with successful deployment activities using any devops tools like Copado/Gearset/Flosum/Azure DevOps/SFDX) with CI/CD governance.
  • Good understanding of Salesforce data model, sharing/ security, profile/ permission sets, flows & advanced workflow approvals.
  • Basic understanding of integrating systems like CLM, Billing, & Order Management.
  • Experience in integrating CPQ with external ERP or billing systems is a plus.
  • Good communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Certifications (Preferred): Conga CPQ Basic or Advanced, Salesforce Admin, Platform developer, MuleSoft certification is a plus.
