Serás responsable de garantizar la disponibilidad, seguridad, estabilidad y performance de los entornos de bases de datos Informix, participando activamente en la administración, monitoreo y optimización de procesos críticos del negocio.

Responsabilidades:

• Administrar bases de datos IBM Informix en ambientes de Desarrollo, QA y Producción.
• Analizar y optimizar consultas SQL y SPL (Stored Procedures Language) para aplicaciones transaccionales.
• Monitorear la performance y capacidad de los sistemas, identificando oportunidades de optimización.
• Ejecutar tareas de mantenimiento preventivo y correctivo: backups, restores, gestión de logs, índices y espacio.

Requerimientos del puesto:

• +8 años de experiencia comprobable como DBA en IBM Informix.
• Conocimientos avanzados en performance tuning, SQL, SPL y optimización de índices.

  • Experiencia en sistemas operativos AIX, Linux o entornos Unix-like.
  • Manejo de herramientas Informix como onstat, oninit, dbaccess, ontape, onbar.
  • Capacidad para identificar cuellos de botella y proponer soluciones técnicas eficientes.
  • Deseable: experiencia en esquemas de alta disponibilidad y replicación (HDR, SDS, RSS).
