Manager – Auto & Industrial
A Manager in Auto & Industrial brings deep domain knowledge, analytical expertise, and leadership to help clients unlock business value. The role involves translating complex business challenges into analytical frameworks, leveraging AI/ML, cloud, and digital capabilities to design scalable solutions. The Manager will act as both a thought leader and practitioner, guiding project teams, co-creating with clients, and driving performance improvement initiatives across the automotive and industrial value chain.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement & Problem Solving
- Develop a deep understanding of client business challenges across Auto/Industrial domains (e.g., connected vehicles, digital supply chain, electrification, sustainability, mobility services).
- Translate business needs into analytical, digital, and AI/ML solutions with measurable impact.
- Act as a trusted advisor, shaping strategies, frameworks, and roadmaps for transformation.
Analytics & AI/ML Solutioning
- Lead design and delivery of advanced analytical solutions (predictive, prescriptive, and cognitive).
- Work with large, diverse datasets including IoT/telematics, transactional, behavioral, and external market data.
- Apply advanced techniques including forecasting, optimization, NLP, computer vision, recommendation engines, and generative AI.
- Leverage cloud-native tools (Azure, AWS, GCP) for data engineering, ML model deployment, and scalable solution delivery.
Delivery & Leadership
- Own end-to-end project delivery including scoping, planning, execution, and stakeholder management.
- Define work plans, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
Innovation & Industry Focus
- Support development of proprietary analytics solutions, accelerators, and thought leadership for Auto/Industrial
- Drive experimentation and prototyping using emerging technologies (digital twins, generative AI, reinforcement learning, blockchain in supply chain).
- Apply analytics to business areas such as:
- Revenue Growth Management & Customer Analytics
- Supply Chain Optimization & Predictive Maintenance
- Connected Vehicle & Mobility Services Analytics
- Pricing, Promotion, and Incentive Optimization
- ESG, Sustainability & Circular Economy Initiatives
Educational Background/qualifications
- B.Tech/M.Tech in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field
- Master’s degree in Data Science, AI/ML, Statistics, Economics, or related disciplines preferred
- Ph.D./M.Phil. in quantitative disciplines is an advantage
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in consulting/analytics with exposure to Auto/Industrial sector
- Proven experience in designing and implementing AI/ Gen AI or analytics-driven solutions in areas like supply chain, manufacturing, customer analytics, aftermarket services, or mobility
- Strong hands-on experience in Python, Spark, SQL; proficiency in ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS) and MLOps best practices
- Demonstrated expertise in Generative AI including:
- Building and scaling GenAI copilots and multi-agent systems for enterprise workflows.
- Applying GenAI for document intelligence, knowledge retrieval, code/content generation, and conversational interfaces
- Familiarity with orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex) and agent platforms (AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel)
- Working with vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, Weaviate, Chroma) for agent memory and context
- Exposure to working with 2nd & 3rd party data (Nielsen, Euromonitor, IHS, social media, mobility datasets, government datasets, location intelligence sources)
- Familiarity with digital twin, IoT/telematics, connected vehicle ecosystems, or Industry 4.0 is desirable
