The Work: 

As the Software Development, DevOps, and Microsoft SME/Stream Lead, you will be the driving force behind one of our most significant revenue streams, representing millions of dollars in annual training sales. You will provide strategic direction for curriculum development, modernize our course offerings to reflect current industry needs, and serve as the primary subject matter expert supporting our sales organization. This role requires balancing strategic curriculum planning with tactical sales support, ensuring our offerings remain competitive and relevant in a rapidly evolving technology landscape. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for Software Development, DevOps, and Microsoft training curriculum, ensuring alignment with market trends and customer demand 

  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert (SME) for sales teams, providing technical consultation during pre-sales engagements and proposal development 

  • Drive modernization of existing course offerings, identifying gaps in the current portfolio and recommending new courses or updates to meet evolving industry needs 

  • Collaborate with contract instructors to ensure consistent quality and technical accuracy across all courses in the stream 

  • Respond to technical questions from sales representatives, helping them position appropriate training solutions for client needs 

  • Evaluate emerging technologies and trends in software development, DevOps, Azure, Fabric, and Power Platform to inform curriculum strategy 

  • Partner with courseware development teams to oversee creation and updates of technical content 

  • Maintain deep technical knowledge through continuous learning and hands-on experience with relevant technologies 

Travel may be required for this role.  The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.

Here's What You Need: 

  • Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in software development, DevOps engineering, or related roles across multiple programming languages. 

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and related technologies 

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a teaching, training, or curriculum development role 

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience with modern software development practices including Agile, CI/CD, and version control systems 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform) 

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience & working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, or related Microsoft technologies 

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting sales processes or working in a pre-sales capacity 

  • Master’s degree and 8 years’ work experience; or, 

    Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience

Profession Skills Requirement

  • You hold current Microsoft certifications (Azure Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or similar) 

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences 

  • Strong organizational and project management skills 

Bonus Points If: 

  • You have previous experience as a technical instructor or courseware developer 

  • You have experience with cloud platforms beyond Azure (AWS, Google Cloud Platform) 

  • You have worked in a consulting or professional services environment 

  • You have direct sales support or pre-sales engineering experience 

  • You have led curriculum strategy or served as a program manager for technical training 

  • You have experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud-native architectures 

  • You have familiarity with AI/ML technologies and their integration with Microsoft services 

  • You have experience managing relationships with contract instructors or training delivery teams 

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired as set forth below.
