We are looking for an experienced Mid/Senior SAP Asset Accounting (AA) Consultant to join our growing SAP Finance team. In this role, you will lead and support SAP AA design, configuration, and implementation activities across a range of projects. You will work closely with business stakeholders to deliver innovative, scalable, and compliant solutions within the SAP FI/CO landscape.
THE WORK:
Leading workshops to gather and analyze business requirements related to Asset Accounting.
Designing and configuring SAP AA solutions, including depreciation areas, asset classes, and integration with Finance, Controlling, and Logistics modules.
Supporting and optimizing existing SAP AA processes to ensure best practices and system stability.
Providing expertise in system testing, data migration, cutover, and go-live activities.
Collaborating with cross-functional SAP teams to ensure seamless integration with MM, PM, CO, PS, and FI.
Preparing functional specifications and supporting technical teams in developing enhancements.
Delivering end-user training and post-implementation support.
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the SAP Finance domain.
Flexible: The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely, onsite at a client or in an Accenture office - depending on specific project circumstances.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
4+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Asset Accounting (AA).
Strong understanding of SAP FI module and integration points with CO, MM, PM, and PS.
Proven experience in full lifecycle SAP implementations or major enhancement projects.
Solid knowledge of business processes in Fixed Assets, depreciation handling, and statutory compliance.
Ability to draft functional specifications and collaborate with ABAP developers.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
Experience with S/4HANA, including Universal Journal and New Asset Accounting.
Knowledge of SAP Fiori apps related to Asset Accounting.
Professional certifications (e.g., SAP FI certification).
