Sustainability Strategy Senior Manager

The Nordic Sustainability Strategy team is a part of Accenture’s global network of sustainability practitioners, combining strong local client engagements with access to the latest capabilities and tools, best practices and market research & innovation.
As a Sustainability Strategy Senior Manager, you will lead multidisciplinary teams and partner with client executives to design and deliver sustainability strategies with measurable impact. Your focus will be on shaping functional capabilities, operating models, and orchestrating cross-functional initiatives across Sustainable Value Chains, and Net Zero transitions, Circular Business Models and ESG measurements and performance management.

What You’ll Do
Strategic Guidance & Value Creation
Define sustainability strategies aligned with client priorities and regulatory requirements.
Translate ESG ambitions into actionable roadmaps and capabilities
Identify opportunities for growth, cost reduction, and risk mitigation through sustainable business models.
Client Advisory & Program Leadership
Advise senior stakeholders on sustainability trends, risks, and opportunities.
Lead complex engagements from shorter projects to multi-year programs.
Drive business case development linking sustainability outcomes to financial performance.
People and Practice development
Contribute to go-to-market offering development, sales and business origination, and capability building across the Nordic Sustainability Strategy practice.
Mentor and develop junior talent, creating a culture of innovation, inclusion, and continuous learning.

Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in sustainability and Consulting, leading strategy transformation programs for large organizations
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental science, Sustainability, Engineering, Business, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
Functional skills: Sustainable Value Chains, Traceability, carbon management, sustainability product and portfolio development, ESG regulations (incl. DPP, PPWR, EUDR, CSRD, etc.)
Project Management: Proven track record in strategy consulting, client advisory, program delivery, and business development.
Business Acumen: Demonstrated ability to develop new business opportunities and lead proposal development.
Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences in English and preferably Swedish. Knowledge of other Nordic languages is considered an additional qualification.
Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with clients and partners.
Leadership: Strong leadership skills with experience in mentoring and guiding team members.
Office location is Stockholm.
