The work:

Your role will require you to directly work with the client, the Accenture Account Leads and Salesforce, bringing ideas and innovation to designing, building, and running customer relationships, digital marketing, omni-channel solutions, sales operations, and customer success initiatives. You will be running the deal. You will be accountable for shaping new deals, developing the sales strategy, aligning the teams to that strategy, and leading the team through both our internal processes and client processes to close the deals. Your focus will primarily be on Salesforce customer experience technology and Song’s wide portfolio of marketing, sales, and customer success offerings that support implementation and enablement.

Here’s a snapshot of your responsibilities:

  • Originate, qualify, and close new opportunities for Accenture clients that leverage Salesforce technology to drive customer growth and/or operational efficiencies

  • Work with Accenture Song Industry leadership teams to develop and deliver new business through trust and value-led relationships with the key client stakeholders responsible for key initiatives and play the role of a trusted advisor  

  • Develop global strategies for Accenture Song clients including leading the team performing rigorous analysis to identify potential value-creating opportunities, creating the business case and developing the requirements to implement the strategy  

  • Be a thought leader in customer challenges, trends, solutions, and related qualitative & quantitative aspects, and help Industry Leads in creation of a digital value architecture 

  • Develop requirements to ensure technology vision and recommendations encompass Accenture Song assets, products, and services 

  • Work with Salesforce sales team to align on clients’ overall objectives and metrics for success

  • Lead client assessment portion of strategy engagements, develop cohesive conclusions and present key findings at the executive level  

  • Provide strategy development and solution development to support new business activities and existing client relationships 

Travel: As required for client support.

Location: Primary residency within 90 minutes of an approved Accenture office (Denver, Phoenix, Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Sacramento, Portland OR

Qualifications

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Minimum of 10 years of selling professional services and digital assets for eCommerce, Inside Sales, Customer Success, and/or digital marketing consulting for Fortune 500 clients

  • Minimum of 10 years in a Sales role, including that of first chair, working on multiple deals at the same time with multiple clients per week and talking to the C-Suite

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience closing deals that include significant process change, technology implementations, process outsourcing, and/or technology outsourcing in marketing, sales, or customer success

Bonus points if: 

  • Comfortable carrying a $15M quota 

  • Have been first chair on selling services deals in excess of $10M 

  • Knowledge of the marketplace and delivery of Salesforce solutions

  • Driving high-value Multi-Tower deals 

  • Experience in managing and navigating Salesforce enterprise sales teams

  • Excellent story-telling skills and the ability to simplify complicated solutions

  • Core sales consulting skills including: 
      - Executive & Digital Leadership Workshop facilitation 
      - Client interviews / focus groups 
      - Run end-to-end sales cycles (origination -> solution -> close) 

  • Have a detailed understanding of the MarTech stack and how to use it

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here. Range of Starting Pay*:

California - $136,800 to $237,600

Colorado - $136,800 to $$237,600

New York - $136,800 to $237,600

Washington - $136,800 to $237,600​

* In addition to base pay, this Sales role is eligible for additional incentive compensation under the Sales Achievement Bonus Plan, which is based on achievement toward individual sales targets, subject to Plan terms.
