Compliance License Management
• Oversight of Third- Party Administrator licenses primarily focused on the US TPA licenses and offshore regulated entities servicing insurance clients. Candidate will be working with Global Compliance and Service delivery partners involved with insurance intermediary licenses and with Global licenses Manager for Legal Regulatory team. Licensing oversight will no doubt expand globally and through the US as insurance engagements continue to increase in size. Note that the licenses involved here may also relate to finance & accounting or other areas of scope under the deal.
• Management and maintenance of license filing, renewals and keeping all licenses on central database. This will involve a great deal of data collection from internal business partners and clients as TPA filings require financial information from clients as well as Accenture business entities. • Understanding scope of businesses impacted by licenses.
• Review any changes in law and the impact on license applications and renewals.
• Reporting of License maintenance internally using existing platforms.
• Working with external counsel to ensure all necessary licenses are obtained, filings are completed timely and legal changes are monitored.
• Working directly with Legal and the Compliance team to validate compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Regulatory Reporting and Compliance
• Accenture as an insurance provider needs to provide appropriate reports both internally and externally.
• The regulatory reporting on obligations is a necessity under several licensing regimes. We must hold meetings with respective internal and external stakeholders, manage risk, assist with audits, monitor complaints or anything else required by local legislative frameworks. We would then need to report on such obligations internally and externally.
• Constant communication with services leads to ensure that they deliver services in accordance with compliance license requirements, documenting those requirements and helping with compliance programs with the rest of the Compliance Team.
