Summary:
As a Business Architect, a typical day involves identifying opportunities that can bring measurable value to the business by thoroughly evaluating the existing environment. This role requires capturing high-level requirements and shaping effective business solutions that align with organizational goals. The Business Architect translates complex business needs into technology-driven solutions and operational frameworks. Additionally, the role supports transformational efforts by preparing detailed business cases and steering the execution of critical initiatives, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology capabilities.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Analyze and understand business requirements within Oracle RMS context
-Prepare detailed test scenarios covering RMS functional areas like merchandising, pricing, inventory & replenishment
-Author test scripts with step-by-step instructions, expected results and RMS data setup conditions
-Map test scenarios to business requirements for full traceability
-Review and validate test scripts with business stakeholders before execution
-Test case execution & defect management
-Execute functional and regression test cases across RMS modules
-Log, track and triage defects with clear reproduction steps
-Coordinate with development teams on defect resolution and retest cycles
-Perform end-to-end scenario validation covering RMS-to-downstream integrations
-Prepare test execution metrics — test cases planned vs executed, pass/fail rates, defect density
-Track and report defect aging, severity distribution and open/closed trends
-Maintain test coverage traceability matrix and sign-off documentation

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS).
- Experience in analyzing and documenting business processes and workflows related to retail merchandising.
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and solution designs.
- Strong communication skills to effectively liaise between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Familiarity with retail industry standards and best practices to support solution development.
- Capability to support change management activities during business transformation initiatives.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS).
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
