What would you do? To execute the end-to-end co-ordination and delivery of the Global Operations Data Quality (DQ) reporting, including; the policies, access rights, tools, templates, quality criteria and measurement, ensuring effective DQ process, management and governance across client’s key information systems. What are we looking for? i. Context The Operations Data Management (ODM) organisation ensures high quality Operations Master Data in the ECC SAP system, which is the one source of truth at client, enabling the efficient utilisation of operational business processes, for example; planning, manufacturing, selling and procuring. ii. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Experience of working with Master Data in an operational environment and have a clear understanding on the governing principles and the challenges that can arise in data management & the criticality of tightly controlled data management and DQ. Highly IT, Supply Chain and SAP systems literate. Expert level skillset in Alteryx, Power BI and Excel. Able to deconstruct complex data issues and convey them in a business relevant format to key business stakeholders and forums with simple and clear messages. Proven influencing skills across all levels within the business. Fluent English with strong communication skills (Verbal & written). Highly numerate/analytical. Rational, logical process-driven thinking and decision making. Able to prioritise and deliver to multiple workstreams. Deep knowledge of the Tobacco industry product portfolio across Combustible and Non- Data Owners, Data Maintainer and Subject Matter Experts across the Operations & Product functions. All Data Stewards & Global / Functional (Finance/Marketing) Data Managers. Central Product. Technical Leads in the Central Product Group. Global IDT team (Information Architect, Solution Delivery Managers and D&A). Global SAP Technical Design Authority. Business Controls Team and Internal Audit. • External: External data forums, conferences, consultants and other third parties as applicable.
Roles and Responsibilities: •Receiving business rule requirement & implementing the solution via CReW governance. Managing the business rule & DQ cycle processes, including reporting pack generation & distribution. Create and maintain DQ guidelines, user guides, principles, to be followed in rules and execution; seek continuous improvement to the BAU. Stakeholder engagement across all levels in Global Ops and across the business; act as centre of excellence for the understanding and interpretation of DQ on behalf of the business. Responsible for developing and maintaining the DQ framework and management of DQ Business Rules Master. Develop appropriate metrics to demonstrate to the different levels of stakeholder, business rule and DQ tracking over time. Track DQ and raise recommendations to relevant governance bodies. Develop and maintain Global Ops DQ reporting and associated Root Cause Analysis processes.
