Infrastructure & Capital Projects – Project Controls - Scheduler, ANS
THE WORK:
- You’ll develop, review, and maintain Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) dictionaries and integrated schedules for major and/or multi‑year projects and programs across all lifecycle phases and development gates, incorporating input from multiple disciplines and stakeholders.
- You’ll document and maintain schedule tenets and assumptions, including scheduling methodologies (e.g., CPM, PERT), ensuring alignment with departmental standards and project or program requirements.
- You’ll ensure schedules accurately reflect scope with appropriate levels of detail as projects progress, and are resource‑ and cost‑loaded to support budgeting, forecasting, and expenditure planning.
- You’ll collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to define activities, durations, and logical relationships within project schedules.
- You’ll own schedule tracking, monitoring, and reporting to ensure major and/or multi‑year projects and programs remain on track.
- You’ll collect, analyze, and report schedule data to measure progress, including earned value metrics and schedule performance indices; explain variances to approved baselines; perform look‑ahead planning; and forecast project completion.
- You’ll perform complex scheduling analysis, including what‑if scenarios and schedule impact assessments, to support informed decision‑making.
- You’ll prepare and present schedule analyses, alternatives, and recommendations to mitigate risks and support business and program decisions.
- You’ll support change control, contract negotiations, and claims management through schedule analysis, performance reporting, and application of industry metrics such as earned value management.
- You’ll apply estimating, cost management, and scheduling techniques and tools to determine, validate, and communicate scheduling outcomes.
- You’ll prepare project controls data requests and supporting documentation for corporate and operating unit governance, audits, General Rate Cases, and regulatory filings.
- You’ll assess customer needs and recommend appropriate approaches to resolve complex or significant matters using established or situationally appropriate procedures.
- You’ll provide training and mentorship to support development of future project controls professionals and ensure adherence to standards and requirements.
- You’ll operate as an individual contributor under the direction of a senior or lead scheduler or manager, collaborating in a matrixed environment and temporarily leading assignments or functional teams as needed.
- You’ll execute all Project Controls activities aligned to Essential Job Functions, maintain strong stakeholder relationships, manage varying service‑level requirements, and meet performance goals safely and effectively, while demonstrating the client’s values and guiding behaviors. This role carries no direct supervisory responsibility.
- Flexible:The work location for this role may include a combination of remote work, client‑site presence, and time in an Accenture office or delivery center. All roles include some in‑person collaboration to support learning, relationship‑building, and teamwork. Accenture offers flexibility wherever possible to support individual work‑life needs.
$118,000 - $147,000 a year
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
• Professional experience with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, Visio) and SAP
• Professional experience and proficiency in Primavera P6
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
• Construction management experience
• Certificate and/or License – Planning & Scheduling Professional, Earned Value Professional, Certified
• Cost Professional, Project Management Professional
• Experience in scheduling distribution program projects (30 + work groups of distribution projects) with some level of complexity and requires tracking status of local permit
