Senior System Data Analyst – Hartford, CT 

Job Description:
Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Senior System Data Analyst in Hartford, CT to analyze technical data processing problems for application to electronic data processing systems of Insurance Claims domain. S/he will perform the following duties: analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve technical aspects of existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations; involvement in onshore, offshore-onshore coordination, high level requirement gathering, feasibility study, impact analysis (functional/Technical); test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, including coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems; develop, document and revise technical system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards; ensure quality deliverables for modules; provide staff and users with assistance solving computer related problems, such as malfunctions and program problems; resolve the issues on time in the production environment to reduce the customer impact and to work on performance improvement if any is reported; confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems using functional knowledge of the Insurance industry; propose the work flow and technical solution as per Duck Creek claims components solutions ensuring the changes are implemented following Duck Creek Claim coding & design pattern and standards; participate & perform platform and system upgrades; communicate with business for functional changes and assist them in testing; consult with management to ensure agreement on technical system principles, staffing & budgeting; participate in project status and governance meetings with the client and Accenture project management; develop or update project plans which would include information such as project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing; and monitor or track project milestones and deliverables, risks and issues.


Basic Qualifications:

This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering (any), or a closely related field plus 6 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience as Technical Lead, System Analyst, or in a related IT position. This position also requires the following professional experience: 6 years of experience in Duck Creek Claims Components (FNOL, Desktop, Financials, Forms & Correspondence, Events & Tasks engines) to propose and architect the functional and  technical solutions for P&C Insurance claim business; 6 years of experience in .Net to design, modify, develop, and implement web based software components and applications as per business specifications; 6 years of experience configuring and creating custom components for the complex systems using ASP.Net, MVC, .Net framework; 6 years of experience in MS SQL (Microsoft Structured Query Language) to Design, create, and implement database systems based on the end user's requirements while ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance; 6 years of experience in WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) – to design, develop and fix the integration solutions between multiple components,  systems & technology platforms; and 5 years of experience in HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets)to design, develop & fix user interfaces and enhance user experience.
