The Enterprise Management Engineering & Integration Lead is responsible for analysis, design, and configuration of all Enterprise Management products to support the monitoring and metrics associated with IT service health and service level monitoring. This person will provide all configuration information required to properly monitor the enterprise infrastructure as well as integrate applications into the environment.

Experience designing and implementing ITIL and operational processes, working with customers to leverage ITSM tool suite capabilities to solve business problems and with ITSM tool configuration and customization. Lead team of administrators & tool developers for IT Service Management tool suite to enable capability enhancements and support customers directly. Ensures and maintains the integrity of the ITSM processes and data. Collaborates with customers (both IT and outside IT) to gather business and functional requirements, gather process data & information, and assist with process re-design, with the goal to enable ITSM tool use in a way meaningful to customers. Lead team to deliver ITSM tool solutions, participates in process audits, and helps interpret the findings. Works with customers to develop reports specific to their business units and needs. Facilitates internal customer use of the ITSM tool, including the handling of routine requests. Maintains current knowledge of relevant ITSM practices and technologies. Participates in continuous process improvement in all areas of IT.

Lead a team of professionals responsible for: 
  • Enterprise ITSM and CMDB solutions, ServiceNow & BMC IT Service Management Suite, to include daily maintenance and future upgrades
  • Enterprise Monitoring solution using the BMC IT Service Management Suite, to include daily maintenance and future upgrades
  • Support to the deployment of the ServiceNow ITSM platform
  • Creation/ maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures Documentation for daily activities
  • Event Management Process
  • Developing metrics reports using data collected from BMC ProactiveNet and other EM monitoring tools
  • Support functional teams and external IT enterprise service providers to collect events from devices managed by these service providers
  • Work with external ISP providers to integrate the Nationals Enterprise Monitoring solution into the clients overall Enterprise Solution
  • Escalate conflicts in a timely manner to senior members of the team
  • Participate and lead in analyzing unique issues, systems or problems having large or total organizational impact
  • Proactively updating the status of a particular issue/problem to appropriate stake holders
  • Research and identify potential resolutions to issues through external resources (knowledge base, internet, etc.)

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: 
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Math, Business or other technical major and at least 12 years of recent relevant technical experience, OR at least 16 years of recent experience in enterprise management engineering/relevant technical experience
  • At least 2 years of experience leading a team
  • At least 2 years of experience briefing clients
  • Understanding of SAN/NAS/DAS technologies
  • Understanding of Server Hardware (Dell, Sun)
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, SNMP, Event Logs
  • US Citizenship
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience with ServiceNow platform
  • Knowledge of BMC Remedy & BMC monitoring/management tools
  • Ability to explain complex concepts clearly using terms appropriate for the audience
  • Good oral and written communications skills
  • Documentation of technical process/procedures applicable to skill set
  • Basic programming or scripting skills with a high level understanding of application architecture and familiarity with .NET, ASP, SQL, COM and other development frameworks
  • VMware Virtualization experience
  • AWS Cloud Services
  • Experience with BMC ProactiveNet monitoring tools
