Business Process Services professionals work on projects across a range of business processes, business applications and information technology.  They may provide technology services, such as application management, infrastructure management and systems integration, or they may deliver business process services, including finance and accounting, procurement and human resources. Depending on the role, Business Process Services professionals may be based at a client’s office or in one of Accenture’s 50 delivery centers around the world.
The Position:
Accenture is seeking a Sourcing Senior Analyst to collaborate with external clients in the federal marketplace to develop sourcing strategies related to a variety spend areas Direct Materials, Facilities, Logistics, MRO, etc.). Lead sourcing and procurement solutions designed to drive spend capture. Lead client selection criteria process, supplier selection process, contract negotiation and formal bidding process. Provide industry and supplier research, market intelligence and financial analyses to client. Support development of market insights from cross-client sourcing activity and collaborate with the Procurement Category function.
You will master project management skills and deepen category-specific knowledge to bring added value to sourcing projects and advance career development. This role will work collaboratively with cross-functional team members to deliver significant results.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with Federal Agency Contracting Officers to ensure that services are delivered in accordance with contractual / service level obligations
  • Ensure that services are provided within assigned timelines; takes actions necessary to address any issues
  • Provide input to Accenture best practices
  • Monitor and provide guidance on procurement process for categories under management
  • Capture and report key findings from procurement activities that can be used to gain efficiencies and or knowledge for similar engagements
  • Support development of subcategory market insights materials or benchmarks
  • Understand client’s business needs to develop optimal sourcing solution
  • Facilitate (with the client’s cross-functional team) the selection criteria for supplier selection and evaluations
  • Design and develop relevant solicitation documents for projects or make recommendations for incumbent negotiations
  • Develop negotiation strategies and support negotiating outcomes with Client Contracting Officers, incorporating best practice metrics for agreements to aid in ongoing Category Management and  SRM activities;
  • May be responsible for contracting negotiated agreement
  • Perform spend analysis of Federal Agency data and conduct analysis of expiring contracts 
  • Work with Federal Agency Contracting Officers to identify high value procurement project opportunities
  • Develops and expands category knowledge in support of sourcing projects
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain management, or managing suppliers, or related project management experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in contracting/negotiation processes and best practices
Preferred Skills:
  • Ability to effectively lead formal strategic sourcing efforts related to Direct Materials, Facilities, , Logistics or MRO categories
  • Solid understanding of and experience with quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Excellent communication, organization/time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage multiple end-to-end project lifecycles
  • Strong project management and relationship-building skills
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Quick learner who can synthesize key elements of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and apply elements to the Procurement Process. 
  • Collaborative in nature to ensure both internal and external stakeholders are being managed and engaged when appropriate
  • Successful track record with clients
  • Adaptable management style to conform to the varied corporate cultures and organizational structures of our customers
  • Experience working directly with key stakeholders in business units
  • Strong knowledge of procurement work flow process, with an ability to work autonomously outside of Radix environment
  • Ability to work from home, not in an Accenture Operations Delivery Center while delivering services for Federal Agency Client.
Travel Requirements:
  • Ability to travel 10% is required to support client projects or continuing education
