Operations professionals work on projects across a range of business processes, business applications and information technology. They may provide technology services, such as application management, infrastructure management and systems integration, or they may deliver business process outsourcing services, including finance and accounting, procurement and human resources. Depending on the role, Outsourcing professionals may be based at a client’s office or in one of Accenture’s 50 delivery centers around the world.
The MAC Administrator / Desktop Management Specialist will work from our Accenture client location and interact with customer on a daily basis serving as subject matter expert for managing Apple MAC and general Desktop Management. This role will require some on-call time on a rotational basis for critical issues.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and maintaining Apple Mac software images for iMacs and Macbooks
  • Overseeing the rollout of these images, performing ad hoc changes and updates as necessary
  • Administration of the Apple MAC server in liaison with the Network Support Team
  • Good hands on experience on MAC OSX Snow Leopard, OS Lion, Mountain Lion & Mavericks
  • Must have experience using Jamf Pro
  • Client Management tools such as Apple Remote Desktop, Deploy Studio, Package maker, FileWave & Casper would be a plus
  • Remote Desktop Support using HDX and other tools
  • Must be able to perform IMAC, data backup and restores for clients
  • Scripting, programming and other languages (Python, Ruby, C, C++, Objective C) would be a plus
  • Exposure/ Troubleshooting knowledge to most common Macintosh applications like Adobe apps, Quark Xpress, MS Office and Final Cut Pro (FCP) would be added advantage.
  • Mass upgrades and patch management of Mac OS and Software
  • Product installation and application patches deployment
  • Administration and maintenance of existing packages
  • Basic knowledge of Windows based systems Experience Required
  • Manage Desktop (software and connectivity) incidents through to resolution.
  • Support, Manage, Optimize and Maintain the configuration and installation of the MAC, to include, but not limited to, patch updates.
  • End to end incident, problem management with RCA
  • Troubleshooting experience for MAC related issues
  • Managing mass software distribution and troubleshooting failed deployments.
  • Managing end to end patching for end user devices at the global level.
  • Application & third-party patching
  • Strong ITIL process knowledge
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 4 years of experience with Apple MAC life cycle administration (image and patch compliance)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Desktop management
