Cloud Consultant

We are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Consultant to join our Infrastructure Engineering team.
This role is ideal for someone with 2–5 years of IT experience who wants to grow into a strong cloud engineer, architect, consultant or a technical project manager.

Your mission
- Design & Architect: Design cloud and hybrid infrastructure that is scalable, reliable, and cost‑efficient.
- Plan: Help define migration approaches and roadmaps, create project plan and detailed migration plans.
- Optimize: Identify performance and cost‑saving opportunities in cloud and on‑prem environments.
- Deliver: Create and own parts of high‑level and low‑level designs, smaller deliverables, and technical documentation.
- Lead by Example: Guide junior colleagues on technical tasks and best practices.
- Automate Smartly: Apply Infrastructure as Code and automation to make environments easier to manage.
- Communicate: Work directly with clients, explain technical concepts clearly, and build trust.
- Keep Learning: Stay relevant, be at the forefront of emerging technologies and methodologies, explore innovative solutions.
- 2+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud, or systems engineering roles
- Good understanding of cloud fundamentals (IaaS / PaaS concepts)
- Hands‑on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS or Azure preferred)
- Solid infrastructure basics: compute, storage, networking
- Analytical thinking: you can design a solution and explain why it makes sense
- Team mindset: you can work as a part of a bigger team, you support others and take responsibility for your work
- Languages: You speak Czech or Slovak at level B1+ and are comfortable communicating in English in a work environment.
Nice to have (not mandatory)
- Cloud certification (AWS, Azure)
- Experience with servers’ virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V, or similar)
- Experience with IaC or automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
- Basic DevOps exposure (CI/CD, automation pipelines
- Previous experience leading small technical teams or mentoring juniors
- Experience with responsible use of GenAI tools in a professional environment
