The Role
As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you will work across the full software development lifecycle, building and evolving custom applications, platforms, and APIs. You will leverage cloud, DevOps, and AI tools to accelerate delivery while learning how to translate business needs into scalable, production‑ready solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and product teams to deliver client solutions
- Design, build, test, and deploy custom applications and services
- Develop API‑driven and platform‑based solutions
- Work in Agile delivery models (Scrum, Lean, XP)
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate coding, testing, debugging, and learning
- Contribute to proofs of concept, technical documentation, and solution development
- Engage in client‑facing environments and clearly communicate technical concepts
Ways of Working
This role requires working on site approximately three days per week with clients, partners, or in Accenture offices and delivery centers. In‑person collaboration is essential for learning, mentoring, and building strong client relationships, with flexibility supported where possible.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field
- Foundational programming experience (Java/JVM, .NET, Python, or Node.js)
- Basic understanding of web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
- Academic projects or internships in software development
Understanding of Agile fundamentals
Preferred Skills & Exposure
- API and service‑oriented architectures
- Databases (SQL or NoSQL)
- Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- DevOps concepts and automation
- Frontend frameworks such as React or Angular
