Role Title: Manager – IX - P&O - Management Consulting Manager (Downstream)

Role Summary
We are seeking high-caliber Industry X consultants with strong domain knowledge and consulting experience to support digital transformation programs for global Downstream Oil & Gas supermajors. This role includes client delivery, value architecting, solutioning, pre-sales, and creation of proposals, RFP responses, and differentiated POVs for business development.
Key Responsibilities
Client Delivery
Lead and support downstream digital transformation initiatives across one or multiple areas including production planning, scheduling, crude assay management, hydrocarbon supply chain, mass Balance and reconciliation, process simulation, integrated operations for process units, APC/RTO, and blending.
Conduct As-Is assessments, To-Be design, value-case modelling, and digital maturity assessments.
Develop, prioritize, and solutionize digital use cases across GenAI, Advanced Analytics, Digital Twins, Industry 4.0, IIoT, and Autonomous Operations.
Work with multidisciplinary teams to design and deploy downstream digital solutions.
Develop high-quality client-ready deliverables, presentations, and transformation roadmaps.
Pre-Sales & Business Development
Lead and support proposal development, pre-sales activities, and RFP/RFI responses for downstream opportunities.
Develop differentiated Points of View (POVs) showcasing our industry expertise and value proposition.
Support deal shaping, solution architecture, and commercial modeling for downstream deals.
Drive BD conversations with internal leadership and client stakeholders; support capability pitches, orals, and workshops.
Required Experience / Background
Experience in Big 4 or top-tier consulting firms (preferred).
Strong downstream domain understanding in any of the below areas:
Production planning/scheduling and crude assay
Unit optimization, APC, RTO
Yield and energy accounting and reconciliation
Unit Operations and Blending
Experience in working in refining/petrochemical plants
Proven exposure to digital transformation in downstream (data workflows, AI/ML models, IoT architectures, control towers, etc.).
Experience in proposal writing, RFP/RFI responses, solution building, and client pursuit cycles.
Educational Qualifications
Chemical/Petroleum Engineering degree (preferred) or related Oil and Gas technical degree.
MBA from top-tier B-schools (preferred)
