Full-time · Eindhoven / The Hague
What you actually do
You'll be joining our Creative Engineering team across two studios (Eindhoven and The Hague). You are responsible for delivering amazing human centered experiences, exploring multi-modal interactions— encompassing physical, visual, haptic, spatial, audio, conversational and gestural touchpoints. You ‘ll be applying your experience and skills in electronics, mechanical engineering and software to deliver experiences, prototypes and products.
Together with our researchers, designers and engineers, you quickly prototype ideas to provoke and provide feedback, which is a vital part of our central design thinking approach. Following that, you will guide the further steps of the development towards implementation.
As Senior Creative Design Engineer, you'll work on the development of exciting new products for a wide variety of client challenges combining latest technology trends, such as GenAI, AR and robotics. And when we say wide, we're not lying. You will work on product development for both the Consumer and Professional Domain, with clients in kitchen appliances, the maritime industry, medical equipment, high-tech, utilities and so much more.
Design at Accenture Industry X means operating in multi-disciplinary agile project teams and being involved right from the concept phase! You co-create closely with e.g. UI/UX designers but also run field tests and have direct contact with the client. You’ll enjoy a lot of creative freedom, in return we expect you to take ownership of your work and be creative in finding solutions.
At Accenture Industry X you will work alongside many other disciplines like product design, UX design, strategy, design research and project management.
What we’re looking for
We're looking for someone that has 5 to 10 years of experience with multimodal experience development and prototyping, who is keen to navigate the increasingly complex world of technology and its possibilities.
You are familiar with engineer processes so that prototypes and deliverables align seamlessly with customer systems, enabling a smooth and efficient handover for implementation.
We expect a can-do curious approach, where we do not always color within the lines, but that does take feasibility in mind to enable eventual implementation.
Are you someone who loves playing with an STM32 or ESP 32, knows a thing or two about 3D CAD, and who is not afraid to do a bit of coding? Someone who is always looking for the next right tool for the job, but at the same time can be pragmatic when needed? Who can take both our designers as well as clients along in the journey and the technological possibilities, and who makes smart choices to validate feasibility, viability and desirability of solutions.
A mutual feeling of the right match is important to us above all. Are you that team player that thrives in a world of front end, human centered innovation?
Here are some possible technologies you will work with in this role, so experience with these is definitely a plus:
Prototyping with electronic sensors and actuators
STM32, ESP 32 or similar
SolidWorks, Creo or similar
3D printing and hands-on prototyping
Prototyping software that connects to electronics
PLM and/or PDM systems
Hardware and software engineering processes
We’ve got lots to offer:
Challenging projects at the forefront of innovation.
The opportunity to work for a wide range of international clients.
Colleagues from a wide variety of disciplines, always ready to inspire and help you see things from a different angle.
Attractive and flexible employment conditions.
Beautiful offices in renovated industrial buildings.
All the tools and hardware you need to make your work as pleasant and efficient as possible.
