Sales Manager – Financial Services Industry (Prague, Czech Republic)
We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our Financial Services (FS) industry, covering Banking and Insurance clients who will be responsible for managing and orchestrating end-to-end sales activities from the perspective of our clients. The Manager will work on identifying new business growth opportunities within the Financial Services industry combining understanding of industry-specific conditions, regulatory environments, and client challenges, while building strong, long-term client relationships.
Your roles and responsibilities:
Relationship Management: Develop strong relationships with target client C‑level and senior stakeholders to drive business insights, align teams, expand market presence, and present Accenture’s integrated value proposition effectively.
Demand Generation: Facilitate and execute demand‑generation activities. Educate clients on new offerings, assets, and differentiators to increase win rates and drive sales growth.
Sales Origination: Conduct sales origination activities through industry‑specific value selling. Build and execute account sales plans, identify new opportunities, and manage the full origination cycle.
Client Alignment and Engagement: Collaborate with client account leaders and bring together the right SMEs from across Accenture's entities. Develop strong pursuit strategies and execute successful sales cycles.
Pipeline Tracking & Reporting: Maintain ownership of pipeline reporting in internal sales systems, ensuring accurate and timely updates for leadership.
Deal-shaping and pursuit: Demonstrate strong deal management skills and business acumen to analyze opportunities, shape commercial structures, and build compelling financial models and business cases.
Job Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience selling professional services, business consulting, and technology consulting deals in a senior solutioning, sales management, and/or bid management capacity.
Solid B2B enterprise sales or business development track record, capable of industry value selling with clients’ C‑level executives; strong understanding of enterprise needs, IT, and technology trends.
Proven ability to identify, shape, and sell integrated solutions including consulting, technology, data analytics, and operations.
Demonstrated success achieving and exceeding multi‑million‑dollar sales targets across multiple cycles.
Strong financial and commercial skills – ability to structure commercial deals, model pricing scenarios, evaluate deal economics, and develop persuasive business cases.
Must have Financial Services / Banking or Insurance industry experience.
Excellent Czech and English communication skills (written and verbal), with strong interpersonal abilities. German knowledge is an advantage.
Effective negotiation, influencing, and persuasion capabilities.
