As a Business Analyst at Accenture Financial Services – Technology, specializing in Pension Transformation, you will play a key role in delivering innovative software and data migration solutions for leading pension funds, insurers and financial institutions. You will collaborate with team leads, developers, and business stakeholders to analyze processes, define requirements, and support the implementation of pension-related systems and integrations.

Your expertise will help clients navigate the complexities of pension reform, legacy system modernization, and functional transformation across the pension value chain.

Your main responsibilities as a Business Analyst at Accenture

Business Analysis & Requirements

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements for pension software delivery and data migration initiatives.
  • Translate business needs into clear specifications for development teams, ensuring alignment with pension regulations and operational goals.
  • Conduct gap analyses and propose enhancements to existing processes and systems.

Functional Expertise & Process Analysis

  • Analyze pension-related business processes (e.g., participant onboarding, benefit calculations, contribution flows) and identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Support the design and testing of integrations between pension platforms and external systems (e.g., payroll, CRM, regulatory reporting).
  • Contribute to product configuration and functional documentation for pension solutions.

Delivery Support & Issue Resolution

  • Provide first-line support during implementation phases, helping resolve functional issues and clarifying requirements.
  • Track and manage defects, change requests, and user feedback throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Assist in data migration validation and reconciliation activities.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with team leads, developers, testers, and client representatives to ensure successful delivery of pension transformation projects.
  • Facilitate workshops, walkthroughs, and review sessions to align on requirements and solution design.
  • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring mutual understanding and effective communication.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of requirements, process flows, and system configurations.
  • Prepare reports on project status, issue logs, and functional coverage.
  • Support training and onboarding materials for end-users and client teams.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • A few years of experience in business analysis in pension or insurance domains.
  • Familiarity with pension processes, data migration, and software delivery lifecycles.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable deliverables.
  • Experience with integration projects and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English

Bonus points if you have

  • Experience with pension administration systems or platforms.
  • Understanding of Dutch pension reform and its implications for system design and data migration.
  • Familiarity with pension-related data structures, contribution flows, and benefit calculations.
  • Experience working with actuarial teams or pension product owners to refine functional specifications.
  • Knowledge of integration patterns between pension systems and payroll, CRM, or financial platforms.
