You are: 

A Duck Creek Business Architect professional who designs, implements, and deploys packaged software solutions that have been developed to accommodate unique insurance industry business (primarily P&C and Commercial Policy) and management processes, regulatory requirements and other business needs.

The Work:

  • Adapts to existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.

  • Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.

  • Uses considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems.

  • Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor. May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture.

  • Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance. Those decisions often impact the team in which they reside.

  • Manages small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.

Qualifications

Here’s what you need:  

  • 4+ years of experience in technology consulting to Insurance (P&C and Commercial) clients focused on operating model transformation, business process improvement, business capability uplift, etc. with deep knowledge of insurance propositions, products, services, channels, functions and processes.

  • 4+ years of demonstrated ability to identify, shape, sell and lead technology consulting work in the Insurance industry, working collaboratively with client leaders and teams.

  • 3+ years of experience on Duck Creek Policy software.

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • You have a strong passion for serving Insurance clients in their effort to successfully transform their business.

  • Deep interest in and knowledge of emerging trends impacting/likely to impact insurers, distributors, and customers.

  • Experience with Project team delivery

  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment.

  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.

  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Albany County, NY, California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below.
