Workday Finance Supply Chain Lead/Consultant

This individual will be part of a team of advisory professionals focused on cloud-based data-reporting operations that integrate and optimize the essential corporate functions of finance, analytics, planning and HR.

Job Responsibility
Partner with the client as the Workday functional expert and lead clients through Financials implementation activities. You will guide clients through all project phases while providing feedback on opportunities to improve business processes and leverage Workday functionality.


- Advise client on strategies, options, and risks, and recommend varied approaches to meet business goals

- Configure Workday to meet each client's unique business requirements while incorporating proactive knowledge sharing strategies to ensure client success

- Develop trusted relationships with clients, consultants, and colleagues

- Configure solutions that consider impacts to work streams while mitigating any cross functional impacts for the customer

- Collaborate with the project team to provide support, feedback, and guidance


For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.

Qualifications

 Here's what you need: 

  • Workday FINS or Supply Chain certification preferred
  • Experience implementing Workday Financials with full life cycle or equivalent experience in ERP/Financials applications
  • Functional experience in at least 3 or more disciplines which includes Accounts Payable, Procurement, Inventory
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and compliance

Bonus points if: 

  • Engage with the client to build teamwork and develop trust and confidence 

  • Experience and ability to gather, develop and translate business requirements to system configuration
  • Experience re-engineering HR business processes
  • Advanced MS Excel Skills (formulas, pivot tables, v lookups) and MS Office Skills
  • Experience implementing ERP systems in Public Sector
  • Take initiative and be resourceful to continually build your knowledge and skills 

  • Recognize potential issues or challenges and provide solutions to solve issues or software gaps 

  • Produce quality deliverables that need little refinement or oversight 

  • Possess clear and effective communication and presentation skills 

 

Educational Requirement:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years work experience). If Associate’s Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6 year work experience.

As required by Colorado law under the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $100,200 $148,900 and information on benefits offered is here.
