We are seeking a hands-on and execution-focused AI Data Security & Privacy Specialist with 6 to 9 years of experience and strong expertise in data protection, privacy controls, information security, compliance, and secure data handling practices across modern digital and AI-enabled environments. This role is ideal for professionals who can assess, implement, and strengthen data security and privacy controls for AI/ML and GenAI use cases while working closely with security, privacy, legal, engineering, product, and platform teams. You will support privacy and data protection reviews for AI systems involving training data, prompts, embeddings, vector stores, memory, outputs, and third-party services, while helping ensure responsible and compliant use of sensitive, confidential, personal, and regulated data across enterprise AI workflows. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong practitioner depth, sound understanding of privacy and data handling fundamentals, and a practical awareness of AI-specific risks such as prompt exposure, unintended retention, insecure outputs, re-identification risk, unintended memorization, regulated data misuse, and excessive data access in AI pipelines.
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead AI-driven solution design and delivery by applying GenAI and Agentic AI to address complex business challenges, automate processes, and integrate intelligent insights into enterprise workflows for measurable impact.
Perform data security and privacy assessments for AI, ML, and GenAI use cases across enterprise environments.
Review and validate handling of sensitive, confidential, personal, and regulated data in AI systems to ensure alignment with security, privacy, and compliance expectations.
Assess AI initiatives involving training data, prompts, embeddings, vector stores, retrieval pipelines, outputs, memory, and third-party or externally hosted services for privacy and data protection risks.
Validate implementation of data handling controls such as classification, minimization, masking, anonymization, pseudonymization, retention, deletion, and controlled data sharing across AI workflows.
Evaluate high-risk AI data usage scenarios, including production data usage, regulated information, external providers, and cross-border data processing considerations.
Assess re-identification risks in embeddings, vector databases, and retrieval mechanisms where sensitive or regulated data is present.
Evaluate risks of unintended memorization and sensitive data leakage from trained models, generated outputs, and retrieval-driven interactions.
Review data protection implications of GenAI capabilities such as retrieval, prompt storage, conversation history, long-term memory, and generated output handling.
Validate the use and effectiveness of privacy-enhancing technologies such as differential privacy, anonymization, pseudonymization, masking, synthetic data, or related protective controls where applicable.
Work with Legal, Privacy, Compliance, Security, Product, and Engineering teams to clarify requirements and support compliant AI data usage decisions.
Document assessment findings, identified gaps, and clear remediation recommendations for AI data privacy and protection reviews.
Support risk discussions, remediation tracking, evidence collection, and exception handling for identified privacy or data handling issues.
Contribute reusable assessment checklists, review criteria, guidance notes, and governance artifacts to improve consistency and quality of AI data protection and privacy reviews.

Professional & Technical Skills

Strong understanding of privacy and data protection principles across enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and data-driven systems.
Experience assessing data handling practices involving classification, minimization, anonymization, masking, retention, deletion, and controlled access.
Good understanding of privacy risks in AI systems including data leakage, prompt exposure, excessive retention, insecure outputs, unintended memorization, model leakage, and misuse of regulated data.
Familiarity with AI and GenAI data flows including training data, retrieval pipelines, embeddings, vector stores, prompts, memory, and generated responses.
Experience evaluating third-party services, hosted platforms, or external integrations for privacy and data protection concerns.
Practical understanding of privacy-enhancing technologies such as differential privacy, anonymization, pseudonymization, masking, or synthetic data approaches.
Ability to assess re-identification risks, excessive data exposure, inappropriate access boundaries, and leakage risks in AI workflows and trained models.
Strong documentation and communication skills for privacy reviews, risk findings, remediation guidance, and audit or compliance evidence.
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders across privacy, legal, compliance, security, product, engineering, and platform teams.
