ServiceNow Developer (Salesforce Ecosystem & Governance)
Role Overview
As a ServiceNow Developer, you will be the lead architect for a mission-critical automation and observability hub. Your work goes beyond simple workflows you will manage a complex cross-platform engine that orchestrates Salesforce (SFDC) operations, integrates with GitLab for CI/CD, and serves as a Central Monitoring Dashboard. You will be responsible for a custom Authorization Framework that governs data access across multiple SFDC Orgs, ensuring that health checks, license usage, and audit trails are visible only to authorized users.
Key Responsibilities
System Integration & Orchestration: Build and maintain deep integrations between ServiceNow, Salesforce, and GitLab. This includes automating user lifecycles, sandbox refreshes, and triggering deployment pipelines via SNOW requests.
Observability & Monitoring: Develop and optimize a Monitoring Dashboard within ServiceNow that aggregates real-time data from SFDC Orgs, including:
o System Health Checks and Salesforce Limits.
o License consumption and Audit Trail tracking.
Security & Governance: Maintain and evolve a custom Authorization Framework within ServiceNow to control granular access to specific Salesforce Org data.
Technical Ownership: Act as the primary technical lead, aligning stakeholder requirements with technical feasibility and presenting designs to the Change Approval Committee (CAB).
Full-Stack SNOW Development: Design, release, and bugfix solutions using ServiceNow Forms, Flow Designer, and custom Widgets.
Technical Requirements
Required Experience:
ServiceNow Core: Advanced development of ServiceNow Forms (Catalog Items) and Flow Designer.
UI & Data Visualization: Proficiency in ServiceNow Widget development and Service Portal to create interactive monitoring dashboards.
Integration & Security: Deep experience with API integrations (REST/Scripted) and building custom authorization/permission logic for data segregation.
Release Management: Hands-on experience with the ServiceNow xType release process.
External Tooling: Experience connecting ServiceNow to GitLab (for CI/CD) and Salesforce (for data extraction and automation).
Additional / Nice-to-Have:
Roche Ecosystem: Active Roche developer account (SX) and access to DEVB environments.
Salesforce Domain Knowledge: Understanding of SFDC Health Checks, API Limits, and Audit Trail logs.
