Project Role : Scrum Master
Project Role Description : Acts as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. Coaches and mentors the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation and enabling a continued focus on the task at hand. Facilitates scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Identifies and reports progress via appropriate metrics.

Summary:
As a Scrum Master, a typical day involves enabling the smooth operation of a software development team by fostering an environment that supports Agile practices. The role includes guiding the team through various Agile ceremonies, ensuring that obstacles are promptly addressed to maintain momentum. The Scrum Master actively supports collaboration within the team and across departments, helping to maintain focus on project goals and facilitating communication to drive continuous progress. Monitoring and reporting on team progress through relevant metrics is also a key part of daily activities, ensuring transparency and alignment with project objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure effective team collaboration.
- Coach and mentor team members to enhance Agile adoption and continuous improvement.
- Identify and remove impediments that hinder the team's progress and productivity.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and fostering a supportive learning environment.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Agile Program Management.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Generative AI, Health Insurance Operations, Python (Programming Language).
- Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Ability to use Agile project management tools to track progress and manage workflows.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration among diverse teams.
- Capability to analyze team metrics and use data-driven insights to improve team performance.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Agile Program Management.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
