Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and maintain high standards of quality throughout the application lifecycle. The role requires applying comprehensive business and functional insights to design and implement thorough testing strategies. Throughout the day, the lead oversees the application of testing principles and processes, ensuring that key performance metrics are established and monitored to evaluate testing progress, manage test execution, and resolve defects efficiently. Collaboration across teams and continuous improvement of quality practices are central to daily activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and team productivity.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on quality objectives and project timelines.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Murex MXTest.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Functional Test Planning.
- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools relevant to Murex MXTest.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective test cases.
- Experience in defining and tracking quality metrics to measure testing effectiveness and product quality.
- Skilled in defect management and root cause analysis to support timely resolution and continuous improvement.
- Good understanding of Murex platform
- Knowledge on Murex MXTEST(Onyx) Tool
- Design & automate manual & functional test/use case
- Good Experience in Test Analysis, creation of testcases, Execution, Automation etc
- Must have experience and worked Under Capital Market Domain
- Knowledge on Functional Test strategy
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Murex MXTest.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
