Project Role Description : Conceptualize, design and prototype innovative digital or physical products. Develop physical, 2D/3D, immersive prototypes and videos for products. Refine product design through iterative user testing documenting and applying feedback on functionality and usability.

Summary:
As a Software Engineer, the candidate is expected to be involved in all key stages of designing and developing new systems. This includes participation from the initial concept and planning phases through design, coding, documentation, and testing. The role further extends to solution rollout, ongoing maintenance, continuous optimization, and production support.
These responsibilities are typically carried out within a cross-functional product team comprising Software Engineers and other professionals, where each team member contributes to specific phases of the overall development lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement effective, secure, and maintainable software
Perform quality assurance activities including unit, developer, integration, UI, and performance testing
Implement test automation alongside manual testing and smoke tests
Design and optimize databases
Maintain build pipelines, related infrastructure, and middleware
Apply software craftsmanship principles to ensure high internal quality through clean code, peer reviews, and pair programming
Identify opportunities for synergies, optimizations, and refactoring
Collaborate with stakeholders on feature evaluation, planning, discussions, and consulting
Gain and share insights into the business domain
Operate and monitor delivered artefacts and products
Provide third-level production support
Take on special responsibilities such as release management
Work closely with developers, Product Owners, UX/UI designers, business analysts, system analysts, and other stakeholders

Professional & Technical Skills:
Demonstrates practical experience in one or more relevant programming languages and frameworks, including Java, Spring Framework, and Kafka
Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Adheres consistently to clean code principles and best practices
Has hands-on experience with multiple software development techniques such as TDD, BDD, ATDD, and Pair Programming
Shows creativity in identifying innovative, efficient, and effective technical solutions
Displays strong ownership of the product, with a high level of responsibility and commitment
Is an effective communicator, capable of consulting stakeholders and collaborating closely with team members
- Any AI Skills are preferred

- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Spring Boot and Kafka
- This position is based in Chennai
