Summary:
As a Principal Frontend Architect, you will provide deep technical and architectural expertise to define, plan, and guide the delivery of enterprise-scale frontend capabilities across large programs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to establish architecture standards, lead solution design discussions, and ensure that frontend applications align with organizational goals. This role requires strong ownership of frontend technology strategy, the ability to influence multiple teams, and a passion for building scalable, high-performance UI ecosystems. You will also contribute to shaping the future of GenAI-enabled user experiences and drive engineering excellence across engagements.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1.Expected to be a Subject Matter Expert with deep knowledge and experience in enterprise frontend architecture.
2.Should have strong influencing, leadership, and advisory skills across programs.
3.Responsible for architectural decisions impacting multiple teams and large-scale implementations.
4.Engage with stakeholders and lead key technical discussions, including client-facing architecture sessions.
5.Provide end-to-end frontend architectural solutions using React.js and Next.js.
6.Define and govern frontend architecture standards, design principles, and best practices.
7.Shape SSR, SSG, and ISR strategy ensuring optimal rendering and performance patterns.
8.Drive adoption of micro-frontend approaches, design systems, and reusable component libraries.
9.Review solution architecture, code quality, performance, and technical design decisions.
10.Facilitate workshops, requirement discussions, and solution alignment sessions.
11.Mentor architects, senior engineers, and contribute to capability building across teams.
12.Support estimations, proposals, and technical planning activities.
13.Ensure delivery excellence, architectural compliance, and performance optimization.
14.Build frontend accelerators, frameworks, and engineering standards.
15.Identify and drive opportunities for GenAI-powered UI experiences and intelligent features (chat interfaces, copilots, LLM integrations).
16.Collaborate with AI and backend teams on LLM-based integration patterns.
Professional & Technical Skills:
1.Must Have Skills: Advanced expertise in React.js, including performance optimization and advanced patterns.
2.Strong hands-on experience with Next.js (SSR, SSG, ISR).
3.Proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
4.Strong understanding of frontend architecture, design systems, and UI/UX principles.
5.Experience with micro-frontends, Module Federation, and scalable UI patterns.
6.Accessibility expertise (WCAG 2.1+ compliance).
7.Experience with REST and Graph-QL integrations.
8.Strong understanding of CI/CD, code quality tooling, and frontend performance tooling.
9.Good To Have Skills: Experience integrating GenAI capabilities (OpenAI / Azure OpenAI).
10.Hands-on exposure to building AI-powered UI or chat-based experiences.
11.Cloud knowledge (Azure / AWS), Experience with CMS integration (e.g., headless CMS).
Additional Information:
The candidate should have a minimum of 12 years of experience in Frontend Architecture.
This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
A 15-year full-time education is required.
