Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business needs. Your typical day will involve coding, enhancing components across various systems or applications, and collaborating with team members to implement modern frameworks and agile practices. You will focus on delivering scalable and high-performing solutions, ensuring that the software aligns with the requirements of the organization and its clients. Your role will also include troubleshooting and optimizing existing software components to improve performance and user experience.

Roles & Responsibilities:
-Infra Design and Deployment: Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure on AWS.
-CI or CD Pipeline Management: Build and maintain CI or CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and AWS Code Pipeline.
- Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC): Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation to automate infra provisioning and management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams to optimize application environments and ensure seamless deployment processes.
-Container Management: Manage containerized environments using AWS services like ECS, EKS, and Fargate.
-Monitoring and Security: Configure and maintain monitoring systems with AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana. Perform security and vulnerability assessments of the cloud infrastructure.
-Automation: Automate and streamline operations for platform provisioning, scaling, and monitoring.
- Troubleshooting and Improvement: Troubleshoot platform-related issues and drive continuous improvements.
- Stakeholder Management: Interact with product owners, architects, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, communicate progress, and align platform capabilities with business goals.
- Delivery Ownership: Take complete ownership of solution delivery - from requirements gathering to implementation and operational handover.
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.

Professional & Technical Skills:
-AWS Expertise (mandatory): Proven experience in cloud platform engineering with a strong knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, EKS, EBS, ECS, ELB, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- Containerization: Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes (mandatory).
- Scripting and Automation: Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like Python, Bash, or Groovy.
- IaC Tools: Solid experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform (mandatory), AWS CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- CI or CD Tools: Hands-on experience with CI or CD tools such as Jenkins (Maven/Gradle Builds) and GitHub Actions (mandatory).
- DevSecOps: Experience integrating security into the CIC or CD pipeline using tools like SonarQube, Black Duck, Trivy for static and container image scanning familiarity with Secrets scanning tools (e.g., GitLeaks) and container security best practices.
- Cloud Security & Networking (AWS): Strong knowledge of AWS cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, VPC design and subnetting, security groups, NACLs, encryption (KMS), compliance (CIS, NIST), and services like AWS WAF, GuardDuty, and Security Hub.
- Monitoring/Logging Tools: Experience with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, AWS CloudWatch, Cloud Trail or the ELK stack.
- Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile DevOps and Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications
Certifications: AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer/Developer).
Multi-Cloud Experience: Experience with multi-cloud environments.
Serverless Architecture: Experience with serverless architecture, particularly AWS Lambda.
Performance Tuning: Experience with performance tuning and optimization.

- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in DevOps.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Strong understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation tasks.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in DevOps.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
