Project Role Description : Design, develop and maintain data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing. Create data pipelines, ensure data quality, and implement ETL (extract, transform and load) processes to migrate and deploy data across systems.

Summary: As a Data Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain data solutions that facilitate data generation, collection, and processing. Your typical day will involve creating data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and implementing ETL processes to migrate and deploy data across various systems, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of data management within the organization. Roles & Responsibilities: -SPL search query optimizations. -Create lookup tables, dashboards, reports, alerts, logs validation and field extraction using delimiters and regular expressions etc. -Database and infrastructure data connect to Splunk. -Performance fine tuning of concurrent searches. -Worked on complex dashboards and extensively large data sets. -Good with Splunk UI and Integrations like CMDB, Service Now, Slack, MS Teams etc. -Configured data inputs using REST API, Scripts, HTTP Event Collector (HEC). -Worked on Knowledge objects such as Look ups, Event Types, Tags, Data Models, Field Extractions using Regular Expressions (REGEX), Splunk commands, KVstores. -Develop custom Splunk apps and add-ons to enhance the functionality of the Splunk platform. -Manage Splunk indexes and ensure data is properly classified and stored. -Perform regular data grooming and archiving to maintain optimal Splunk performance. -Provide technical support to internal teams and external customers for Splunk-related issues. -Stay up to date with new Splunk features and capabilities to continuously improve our Splunk implementations. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Splunk. - Strong understanding of data modeling and database design principles. - Experience with ETL tools and processes. - Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks. - Knowledge of scripting languages for automation and data manipulation. - Awareness of best monitoring practices in Retail E-Commerce Industry. - Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key use cases and design Splunk dashboards to support those use cases. - Good in written/oral communication. - Proficient in MS Office. - Positive attitude and keen to learn. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Splunk. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
