Project Role : Quality Engineer (Tester)
Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

QA Engineer Experience: 4–6 years Responsibilities • Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications. • Implement and maintain automated test suites using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright. • Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure test coverage and early bug detection. • Participate in BDD practices using tools like Cucumber or Behave. • Conduct API testing using Postman, Newman, or similar tools. • Track and report bugs using tools like Jira, and ensure timely resolution. • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and test automation frameworks. Skills & Experience • 3+ years of experience in software testing and QA automation. • Proficiency in test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.). • Experience with BDD tools (Cucumber, SpecFlow, Behave). • Familiarity with security testing and compliance validation. • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies. • Experience testing microservices and event-driven architecture. • Familiarity with API testing, CI/CD pipelines, and version control (Git). • Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6) is a plus. • Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills. • Understanding of LLM-based features and how to test AI-driven components. Summary: As a Quality Engineer, you will enable full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Your typical day will involve performing continuous testing for security, API, and regression suites, while also creating automation strategies and automated scripts. You will support data and environment configuration, participate in code reviews, and monitor and report defects to facilitate continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that quality is maintained throughout the development lifecycle, contributing to the overall success of the projects you are involved in. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in quality assurance practices. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Software Quality Assurance (SQA). - Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and tools. - Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment practices. - Familiarity with performance testing and security testing methodologies. - Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets to inform testing strategies. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (SQA). - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
