What would you do? "You will need to assist employees in completing the I-9 form, ensuring it is accurate, timely, and compliant. Use Form I-9 to verify the identity and employment authorization of individuals hired for work in the United States. All U.S. employers are required to complete this form for every person they hire, including both citizens and noncitizens. The form must be completed by both the employee and the employer (or an authorized representative). The employee must attest to their employment authorization and provide acceptable documents that prove their identity and employment eligibility. The employer must review these documents to confirm they appear genuine and relate to the employee and then record the information on the Form I-9. Employee Service - HR Delivery involves the execution and management of HR services and processes for employees. This includes tasks like payroll processing, benefits administration, onboarding, and handling employee records. The goal is to ensure that HR services are delivered efficiently and accurately. Effective HR delivery supports employee needs and helps maintain smooth HR operations. It is essential for ensuring a positive employee experience and organizational efficiency. Process and strategy of providing and managing human resources services and information to employees within an organization. This encompasses various aspects, including employee support, benefits administration, onboarding, payroll, and other HR related functions.
What are we looking for? • This role requires a dedicated individual who can effectively navigate a dynamic environment while providing exceptional support to employees completing their I-9 forms. • Handle back-to-back virtual calls with employees and authorized agents, ensuring a smooth scheduling process. • Over 3 years of prior HR customer service experience preferred. • Be available to assist employees during scheduled appointments, providing guidance on I-9 form completion. • Demonstrate flexibility in managing high volumes of appointments, adjusting schedules as necessary to accommodate employee needs. • Prioritize tasks effectively to ensure timely completion of I-9 forms. • Excellent phone etiquette. • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. • Strong interpersonal skills. • Ability to remain calm and polite in stressful situations. • Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities. • Willingness to collaborate with customers and management to address any issues. • Commitment to acting with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality when handling sensitive information. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Eagerness to dive into a high-volume workload in a remote environment.
Roles and Responsibilities: • Conduct virtual meetings with employees and their authorized agents to validate original documents. • Ensure that the Form I-9 is accurately completed according to Federal USCIS guidelines and processed in a timely, compliant manner. • Coordinate with new hires to collect I-9 supporting documentation, verify its authenticity, and ensure it falls within the list of acceptable documents. • Ensure that I-9s are completed within the first day of employment or as specified by USCIS guidelines. • Follow up and resolve any I-9s requiring further verification (e.g., SSA TNC, DHS TNC, human error). • Assist in maintaining and auditing I-9s to achieve 100% completion for all new hires and reverifications. • Support People Operations team initiatives and contribute ideas to enhance processes. • Provide exceptional customer service. • Maintain confidentiality of information. • Perform other duties as needed. • Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers by using encouraging language and anticipating their needs."
