What would you do? Deliver sourcing projects across the S2C lifecycle, combining analytics, business judgment, and stakeholder engagement. Key activities include: • Supplier outreach, RFx events, negotiations, awards, and contract execution. • Supporting development of category strategies and roadmaps aligned to client business goals. • Conducting supplier/market analysis to inform negotiation strategies and outcomes. Applying AI and digital tools to streamline workflows, reporting, and delivery accuracy. • Contribute to market intelligence and thought leadership for clients and internal teams. • Supporting business development with assessments, due diligence, and case studies. • Mentoring peers and junior colleagues in sourcing, stakeholder engagement, AI, and procurement best practices. • Driving continuous improvement in sourcing practices, delivery models, & supplier engagement. Develop strategies to transform the S&P function that lead to the implementation of differentiated and competitive S&P capabilities, processes, technologies and organizations.
What are we looking for? • 5–7 years in strategic sourcing, category management, or consulting, with expertise in Category. Experience engaging suppliers and adapting across spend areas. • Sourcing & Procurement Expertise: Hands-on in category strategy support, sourcing events, supplier evaluation, and negotiations. Able to balance execution excellence with emerging advisory responsibilities. • AI Literacy: Practical, consistent use of AI assistants for S2C tasks with judgment and quality control. Translate business goals into clear prompts, iterate quickly, validate outputs, and refine documents (tables, tracked changes, scans/PDFs). Candidates with S2C experience welcome; those without AI background must demonstrate adaptability, curiosity, and structured thinking. • Skills: Strong numeric/text analysis with financial/commercial evaluation of supplier proposals; ability to translate data into actionable strategies. • Leadership & Collaboration: Manages own workstreams, mentors’ peers/juniors in sourcing, AI literacy, procurement practices, and Category. • Stakeholder Engagement: Builds trusted supplier/stakeholder relationships; tailors communication for executives and partners. • Education: Bachelor’s required • Value-Add Proficiency (Preferred) • Proficiency with procurement platforms and AI productivity tools. • Ability to refine documents for AI parsing (tables, tracked changes, PDFs). • Experience supporting business development pursuits. • Strong analytical, numeric, and text-based problem-solving skills. • Skilled in storytelling and creating client-facing content, including executive-level communication. • Trusted advisor to suppliers and stakeholders; able to influence decisions. • Demonstrated adaptability in global/matrixed environments. • Passion for continuous improvement and transformation in procurement delivery. • Certifications - Preferred: Advanced degree and/or certifications such as CPSM or MCIPS
Roles and Responsibilities: •• Support development of category strategies, pipelines, and roadmaps using research and financial/commercial analysis. • Analyze supplier proposals/contracts to optimize results and inform negotiations. • Embed AI and digital tools into sourcing workflows to streamline operations and reporting. • Deliver business development support including assessments, due diligence, and case studies. • Produce market intelligence and thought leadership content for clients and stakeholders. • Mentor and coach peers/juniors in sourcing, AI use, procurement practices, and Category. • Build trusted relationships with suppliers and stakeholders; adapt communication for executives and functions. • Manage multiple projects independently in dynamic environments while contributing to shared services/matrix structures. • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in procurement practices and ecosystems. • Travel up to 50% to client sites. • Strong project management in dynamic environments. • Self-starter, adaptable, growth-oriented problem-solver. • Strong storytelling/communication skills for stakeholders and C-suite. • Emerging business development support: due diligence, contracts, case studies. • Tools: Proficient in procurement platforms, Microsoft Office, AI tools.
