- (Internal Role: Construction Management VI)
- We are seeking experienced Senior Project Leaders to lead the planning, design, and construction of new underground and overground transit stations. The successful candidate will oversee all phases of project delivery, ensuring alignment with budget, schedule, safety, and quality standards. This role requires deep expertise in new build station infrastructure, stakeholder management, and large-scale capital project execution
- Provide strategic direction and overall management of all construction activities on assigned subway project segments and contracts relating to the planning, development, procurement, design, and construction through to revenue service
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with delivery service providers to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and negotiate partnership agreements that align with project objectives
- Meet regularly with client leaders, delivery supply chain leaders, and stakeholder leaders, to assess progress, resolve critical issues, and mitigate risk
- Manage the interface between clients, stakeholders, and all associated delivery service providers
- Work closely with architects, engineers, and construction contractors to develop innovative and sustainable design solutions that meet project requirements and regulatory standards
- Govern project activities relating to preliminary constructability development, alternative technical concepts, constructability design, and design variances
- Drive critical decision-making on highly technical and complex issues related to design and construction progress. Gather project intel through meetings, reports, contractor submissions, and schedules
- Monitor the design and construction contractors throughout every phase of the assigned project, and ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and objectives
- Manage contractors, suppliers, and vendors relationships to optimize collaboration, resource utilization and mitigate project risk
- Direct a large design compliance and construction administration team (may consist of multi-firm resources and client resources) by leveraging a diverse array of talents and delegating responsibilities
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and contractual requirements
- Establish a digital infrastructure for construction administration and field operations
- Ensure the resolution of claims and dispute submissions initiated by the design and/or construction contractors (potential or actual)
- Advance the development, and implementation of scope, policies, and plans, with construction management, standards, technical requirements, infrastructure development, system development, constructability design reviews, and change management, in conjunction with the established KPIs
- Tailor communication to various levels of stakeholders about project status, concerns, and actions
- Assess the capability of project resources to accomplish current and future work and make certain the planning of project resourcing, including staffing and de-staffing is sound and aligned to accomplish each task
- Mentor and instruct direct reports and ensure the same is provided to their teams regarding construction and design, schedules, cost estimates, etc.
- Provide the final review and approval of the completed material planning to successfully deliver construction contract administration services
- Ensure goals are met including customer satisfaction, and staff performance
- Define the success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project and program life cycle
- Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure goals are achieved
- Facilitate various project focus or function meetings with a focus on service initiatives
- Plan for and meet with stakeholders (including senior management and sponsors) to streamline transparent project communications
- Develop evaluation methods to assess the effectiveness of the services and identify areas for improvement
- Lead a large, multi-organization design compliance and construction teams, delegating responsibilities effectively

- Experience:
- Minimum of 18 years of experience in construction services in planning, design, and construction of new underground and overground rail transit stations
- Possess a proven track record in establishing and managing delivery partnerships within the construction industry
- Must have extensive experience overseeing tunneling projects, particularly within the context of underground station construction
- Must have experience and understanding of relevant regulations and industry best practices related to underground construction to ensure compliance and mitigate risks associated with tunneling operations
- Experience of progressive contract models, including PDB and/or Alliance
- Strong understanding of design principles and engineering methodologies
- Project management experience on large scale civil engineering projects, preferably rapid transit projects
- Experience working with a large team of technical professionals and large-scale contractors
- Experience successfully managing the competing objectives of many external and internal stakeholders
- Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent field
- Licenses OR Certifications:
- Holding recognized certification in an area of specialty as needed
- Skills and Competencies:
- Expert grasp of prevailing construction methods
- Mastery of tools and metrics needed to evaluate project performance
- In-depth knowledge of applicable construction-related software
- Demonstrated functional acumen to support how solutions will address client goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices
- Effectively anticipates, identifies, and minimizes risks
- Expert ability to detect, capitalize, and be sensitive to others' strengths
- Demonstrated capability to supervise, delegate, and develop capacity
- Tact to perceive and ameliorate conflict and tension
- Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment by ensuring effective teamwork, promotion of innovation, and overall excellence
- Proven success in providing on-site leadership to multi-resource Construction Management teams by building and motivating them to meet project goals while adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones
- Substantiated experience delivering excellent results and exceeding clients’ and external and internal stakeholders’ expectations
- Keen on sustainability, social responsibility, and making a positive environmental impact
- Sound understanding of interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs
- Adept at taking the lead on potentially risky technical decisions related to construction management services with minimal supervision
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Must maintain professional development to keep abreast of emerging technologies, methods, and best practices
- Ability to arrange priorities and escalate competing risks to meet deadlines with minimum input from others
- Keen eye for detail and adept problem-solving abilities with a track record for meeting deadlines
- Must have demonstrated experience relaying and receiving information (written and verbal) in a demanding multidisciplinary project environment
- Expert ability to work collaboratively and independently on creative and analytical tasks in a structured, disciplined, technology-driven environment
- Proficiency in taking ownership and efficiently managing resources to identify, solve, and overcome challenges
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.

The base pay range shown below is intended as a guideline to reflect the majority of offers for this role. It does not represent a maximum limit — in some cases, actual compensation may exceed the range where appropriate.
