Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Developer with strong expertise in Axway Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions to design, develop, support, and enhance enterprise file transfer services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Axway Secure Transport, Oracle databases, Unix/Linux environments, and automation scripting. This role requires close collaboration with infrastructure, application, and business teams to ensure secure, reliable, and high-performing managed file transfer operations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, configure, and support enterprise managed file transfer solutions using Axway platforms.
Administer and enhance Axway Secure Transport and Managed File Transfer environments to meet business and operational requirements.
Develop and maintain secure file transfer workflows, automation scripts, and batch processing solutions.
Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable MFT solutions.
Perform system integration with internal and external applications, partners, and banking platforms.
Troubleshoot production incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.
Optimize file transfer performance, security, monitoring, and operational efficiency.
Develop and maintain PL/SQL objects, including procedures, views, packages, and indexes.
Support deployment, release management, and environment configuration activities.
Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support guides.
Participate in on-call support and critical incident management when required.
Required Skills:
- 6-9 years of experience in application development, integration, or managed file transfer solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with Axway Managed File Transfer and Axway SecureTransport.
- Experience working with Oracle Database 12c and/or Oracle Database 19c.
- Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and command-line administration.
- Proficiency in Shell Scripting for automation, monitoring, and operational support.
- Experience developing and optimizing PL/SQL objects, including procedures, packages, views, and indexes.
- Understanding of secure file transfer protocols such as SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, and related security concepts.
- Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting production environments and managing critical incidents.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Oracle WebLogic Server administration and deployment.
- Experience with JBoss EAP or other enterprise application servers.
- Knowledge of Apache HTTP Server configuration and administration.
- Experience with batch scheduling tools such as Control-M.
- Experience using Splunk Enterprise for monitoring, logging, and operational analytics.
- Familiarity with enterprise integration, middleware, and API-based connectivity.
- Exposure to banking, financial services, or large-scale enterprise environments.
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps delivery models.
- Knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, and security best practices for file transfer platforms.
