As a Consultant for SAP HCM at Accenture, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of SAP HCM solutions by enabling full-stack testing through multi-disciplinary team collaboration and ecosystem integration. You will be responsible for driving quality across the application lifecycle by performing continuous testing, creating automation strategies, and supporting data and environment configuration. As a subject matter expert, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to key decisions, and provide innovative solutions to testing challenges. Advanced proficiency in Test Execution and Management is essential, with recommended expertise in System Defect Management.
 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies to ensure high-quality deliverables for SAP HCM solutions.
  • Perform continuous testing, including security, API, and regression testing, to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Create and execute automation strategies, develop automated scripts, and utilize automation tools to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support data and environment configuration to enable seamless testing processes.
  • Monitor, report, and manage defects using advanced System Defect Management practices to support continuous improvement.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, analyze, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Conduct training sessions to share knowledge, best practices, and foster a culture of continuous learning within the team.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes to align with industry standards and emerging trends.
  • Engage with multiple teams, contribute to key decisions, and provide solutions to challenges across various teams.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Minimum of [4 years] of experience in SAP HCM testing, quality engineering, or related roles.

  • Advanced proficiency in Test Execution and Management.

  • Strong understanding of System Defect Management and its role in delivering high-quality solutions.

  • Proven experience in developing and executing automation strategies and scripts.

  • Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, UFT, or similar platforms.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and provide innovative solutions.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to engage with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

  • Experience in facilitating training sessions and sharing best practices with team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in SAP HCM, Quality Engineering, or related areas.

  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors and cloud-based SAP HCM solutions.

  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and testing frameworks.

  • Familiarity with performance testing tools and techniques.

  • Proven ability to identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement in testing practices.
