Job Description:
Accenture is seeking a hands-on SAP Cutover Manager to coordinate Business and IT cutover activities for a large-scale SAP transformation program. This role will oversee the end-to-end cutover planning, readiness, execution, and stabilization across Human Capital Management (HCM) (SuccessFactors, Concur), Supply Chain Management (SCM) (S/4HANA, Ariba, OpenText, MDG), and Finance (FIN) (S/4HANA, MDG) workstreams. The SAP Cutover Manager will collaborate closely with Accenture functional and technical teams, client business and IT stakeholders, third-party vendors, the data migration partner, and the BCG PMO to ensure a seamless and well-controlled transition to the new SAP landscape. This program-critical role demands strong initiative, consistent oversight, hands-on delivery management, and a focus on minimizing disruption to business operations during go-live.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end cutover strategy, integrated planning, and execution across both Business and IT streams.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute a comprehensive cutover plan, encompassing technical system activities, data migration loads, and business operational transitions.
  • Coordinate regular cutover planning sessions, readiness reviews, mock cutover rehearsals, and go/no-go meetings with business and IT leadership.
  • Ensure all cutover tasks are correctly sequenced, dependencies managed, and critical paths identified and monitored.
  • Manage communications during cutover execution, ensuring timely updates, issue escalation, and decision support.
  • Track and mitigate cutover-related risks, issues, and dependencies, escalating to program leadership as appropriate.
  • Oversee Hypercare handover, stabilization activities, and early life support following go-live.
  • Ensure continuity of business operations and minimal disruption throughout the cutover period.

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex ERP cutovers, including substantial experience with SAP S/4HANA programs.
  • Strong understanding of SAP landscapes, integration points, and dependencies across both technical systems and business processes (SuccessFactors, Concur, Ariba, OpenText, MDG).
  • Proven track record managing cutover planning across IT infrastructure and business operational activities.
  • Practical experience leading mock cutovers, dress rehearsals, go-live execution, and Hypercare transitions.
  • Excellent organizational and program management skills, with the ability to manage detailed runbooks, cross-team dependencies, and critical timelines.
  • Strong leadership presence and the ability to influence and coordinate across business and technical teams.
  • Expertise in cutover governance, risk management, contingency planning, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, including escalation management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel (advanced), Jira, or equivalent planning and tracking tools.
