Job Description

 

Data and Analytics professionals define strategies, develop and deliver solutions that enable the collection, processing and management of information from one or more sources, and the subsequent delivery of information to audiences in support of key business processes.

 

Data Warehouse professionals develop deep data management skills to support Accenture's Cloud Big data engineering and analytics agendas, including capabilities such as Cloud data warehouse and data lake, cloud data engineering, on premise to cloud data migration, data ingestion, data curation, and data migration.   Act as a technical and solution expert in the areas of snowflake data warehouse, Data warehouse on Cloud

 

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

  • Provides solutions to complex business problems for area(s) of responsibility where analysis of situations requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives
  • Involved in setting strategic direction to establish near term goals for area of responsibility
  • Interacts with senior management levels at a client and/or within Accenture, which involves negotiating or influencing on significant matters
  • Has latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments
  • Decisions have a lasting impact on area of responsibility with the potential to impact outside area of responsibility
  • Manages large teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture


Basic Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in multiple disciplines including; solution or technical architecture, Data Management, Cloud, Big Data, or NoSQL
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience developing and deploying large-scale data analytics solutions with Snowflake Data Warehouse (20+ TB)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales / pre-sales functions, leading pursuits, proposal development, effort estimations, statement of work

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Experience with Data Lake implementations
  • Data Strategy and Data Governance consulting and implementation
  • Experience developing solutions utilizing:
    • MapReduce, Pig, Hive
    • Scala, Spark, PySpark, Hive
    • knowledge on Jenkins, Chef, Puppet
  • Deep understanding of public cloud platforms (AWS, MS Azure and Google Cloud Platform)
  • Full life cycle development experience
  • 5+ years of experience writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, etc.
  • 3+ years of experience with SVN or Git code versioning tools
  • Experience administering Hadoop or other Data Science and Analytics platforms using the technologies above
  • Ten or more years of experience dealing with complex business/technical architectures and complex client delivery.
  • Exceptional client management and leadership skills.
  • Extensive experience designing and implementing large and complex Data Lakes, Data Warehouses and Analytics projects
