As a team:

You will be a part of a global team of in-network Managed Services for Accenture and deliver Network Operations at scale. Our Global presence helps operators and leading enterprises plan, develop, deploy, operate, and optimize their networks efficiently through extensive automation, staff optimization and low-cost/high-skill location strategies. Furthermore, we partner with many of the vendors in-network technology ecosystem, helping them develop products to meet their future customer and industry needs.

The Opportunity

We are seeking network engineers who can provide knowledge and experience to support triage, troubleshooting, and repair of production networks across Edge Network Infrastructure elements with knowledge in servers. Work across teams in a collaborative formation, be responsible for team mentorship, technology advances and direction, while also supporting project managers and network operations engineers as a consultant and subject matter advisor on specific network related topologies or technologies.

In this role you will :

•             Support triage, troubleshooting, and repair of production networks across Data Center, Edge, IP Backbone, and Optical elements. Follow defined procedures and utilize tools to collect data and resolve network issues within defined SLAs. Engage with 3rd party vendors, OEMs, and field services to facilitate resolution.

•             Services include server repair, circuit repair, and network repair - facilitating fault identification, isolation, troubleshooting of physical/logical issues, issue resolution, and configuration updates by following existing procedures.

•             Escalate to Tier 2 and Operations Engineering leadership to resolve complex or high priority issues.

•             Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, or automate tasks.

Qualifications

Requirements

•             2 years equivalent experience and  technical diploma OR Engineering Degree

•             Basic networking skills. 

•             Aptitude to troubleshoot basic network connectivity, diagnostics and configuration.

•             Aptitude to execute MOPs for network troubleshooting, triage, and repair

•             Understanding  with network routing and switching technologies and protocols including , TCP/IP, STP, VLAN, VRRP, CDP, LLDP, BGP, ISIS, and OSPF.

•             Experience with IPv4/IPv6 and familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Linux/Unix Shell, JSP, Ruby, Perl along with Linux and other OS knowledge including kernel

•             Competence to certify on CompTIA, CCNA/JNCIP, CCNP/JNCIP or equivalent experience preferred.
