BPT Innovation Manager 

About the Organization:

People in the Corporate Function career track contribute to the running of Accenture as a high- performance business through specialization within a specific functional area.

BPT Team (Business Performance and Transformation) is part of the GS Corporate Function and is the driving force behind performance, transformation, and innovation across all Corporate functions.

BPT delivers this through the expertise, agility, creativity and ability to deploy transformative solutions that are locally relevant, globally consistent and functionally aligned. BPT is organized into Centers of Expertise & Delivery (COE&Ds) across Argentina, China, Czech Republic, India, Ireland, North America and The Philippines. This role will be part of the Innovation COE&D in BPT Argentina.

About the Role:

The BPT Innovation Manager will be responsible for the execution of the strategy defined by Innovation COE&D Global lead in Argentina Location. Focus will be on leading a team to support needs from CF/Function leads in their processes requiring the implementation of Innovative/technical solutions leveraging different technologies (Phyton, C++, Java, JSon, .Net, MS Office, Powerapp, SQL, Adobe, Sqetch, Blockchain, Analytic tools, among others).

The BPT Innovation Team in Argentina is formed by 9 resources and the successful candidate will work closely with Innovation COE&D leads in other locations, CF/Function leads Argentina BPT lead.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Strong leadership, stakeholder and people management capabilities.
  • Exceptional knowledge of emerging tech trends and deep research skills.
  • An understanding of end to end delivery process for technical solutions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Understand COE&D priorities/definitions and implement the strategy for the location.
  • Interact with CF and Function leads in the location to understand needs for Innovation support.
  • Lead the team in the delivery of innovative solutions to address the needs.
  • Lead the team in the research of new technologies to implement.

Core Skills:

  • Ability to establish credibility as a Subject Matter Expert with stakeholders.
  • Critical thinking skills (ability to quickly grasp complex and unfamiliar subjects, willingness and desire to challenge the team’s current thinking and help take it to the next level)
  • Issuebased problem solving: identify key issues and, in a logical, structured manner, use these issues to propose a solution and drive team’s efforts.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize/delegate appropriately and effectively.
  • Business acumen: Individuals must possess a fundamental understanding of context/drivers that generates opportunities for the Innovation team to provide support.
  • Thought leadership skills to investigate and appreciate a constantly changing Information Technology (IT) Services and Software Industry landscape.
  • It is preferable that the individual has knowledge of two or more core segments of the industry and a strong interest in others. for example: IT Application Services, Analytics, Automation, Custom Solutions, UX, Cloud and Infrastructure services, SaaS Platform services, Cyber and Application Security, Emerging technologies, etc
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced business environment
  • Effective verbal and written communications skills.
  • Bilingual / advanced both English and Spanish.

  • A bachelor degree, preferably in economics, business, finance, engineering, computer science or other related areas.
  • Solid experience in end to end solutions implementation (Identify new opportunities, Requirement gathering solutions, Delivery (Development, Test, Deployment), etc.)
  • Solid experience in research, information retrieval methods, insight generation and thought leadership
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel; PowerPoint, Power BI, i.e., charting)
  • Strong PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, and Word skills; knowledge of visualization tools is a plus
  • Experience with developing IT business cases, strategic assessments.
  •  Awareness in specific emerging technology areas.
