We Are
Topic Advisory. We support industry-specific teams on sales pursuits, increasing our bid rate and win rate by assisting with the sales process.
You Are
Comfortable completing assigned tasks on pursuits independently, and you know when to raise questions to complete the task on time while fulfilling the requirements of the task. You take the direction from team leads to ensure that everything runs smoothly in the day-to-day operations of the Workday Higher Education Practice. You partner with others on the team to ensure tasks are completed as expected and on time. You’re comfortable writing and editing, and you enjoy being organized. You may not have much experience in your topic area of higher education, but you are eager to learn as you go.
The Work
You assist with sales pursuits with the Workday Higher Education Practice, which comprises four account executives, one sales Lead, and one other Topic Advisor. This team completes RFPs, presentations, and other deliverables to help Accenture win the business of implementing Workday at higher education institutions.
In supporting the sales process, you do a variety of tasks depending upon the team and turnaround time, including:
- Helping to manage the proposal process
- Answering RFP questions with standard proposal content, including resumes, case studies, and thought leadership, that best fits the needs of the pursuit response.
o Taking direction from the team leads, you help shape and personalize pursuit responses to tailor them to each client.
o Apprenticing with the Team Lead, you pursue and develop senior-level stakeholder relationships within deal teams.
- Helping to manage the relationship with pursuit services teams, such as graphics and editorial, preparing decks and handling any handover instructions necessary for updates.
o Once updates are completed, you review the deck to ensure all instructions were followed and brand standards were met.
- Upkeeping Practice assets, such as maintaining sales asset repositories and tracking client details.
- Contributing to developing sales assets to support Workday SLED pursuits as needed.
Requisitos
Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree.
· Relevant transferable skills from previous positions: writing, editing, organizing, project management, collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in Sales and Business Development, specifically proposal development
· Experience in Public Sector or in Higher Education.
· Graphic design interest and skills (PPTx, Word formatting)
Professional Skills:
· English language fluency (oral and written)
· Strong communication skills (e.g., timely responses to email and chat pings, communicating bandwidth constraints, raising concerns early and often, asking for help early and often, etc.).
· Ability to work in a rapidly evolving, fast-paced environment
· Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian
· Ability to manage multiple administrative items concurrently and prioritize appropriately.
· Positive, team-centric attitude and a willingness to learn.
