About the role:
This role is part of Accenture Research’s global innovation team with a focus on economic research.
The candidate will be working closely with other teams of data scientists, economists, and the data visualization team to guarantee a successful collaboration between data-driven outputs and storytelling deliverables.
We are looking for a candidate with experience in economic analysis, setting up econometric and structural models and writing reusable code, and datasets.
The ideal candidate has a passion for economics and data-driven insight discovery as well as business acumen to help solve the world’s most complex problems at the intersection of business, technology, and society.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Frame economic research problems
- Help in the design and execution of groundbreaking and differentiated economic research at the intersection of business and technology
- Develop novel data-driven approaches to support current and future research projects
- Collaborate in raising awareness and understanding of economic and data science research tools and outputs within Accenture and Accenture Research (econometric modeling, text analytics, sentiment analysis, data-wrangling, machine learning, etc.)
- Support global research projects on themes aligned to Accenture priorities
Requisitos
Experience and skills:
- Experience setting up econometric, machine learning and simulations on structural models
- Experience in writing reusable code, and datasets
- Strong interest in Technology and Business analytics and research
- Strong interest in the economic research agenda as well as in themes such as technology innovation and labor markets
- Strong analytical skills and a proven ability to make sense out of data (incl. unstructured/novel, vendor/premium, high frequency, or survey based.)
- Excellent understanding of economic modeling tools (eg. Stata, R, Python) and techniques (cross-section and time-series econometrics, causal inference, machine learning and experimental design)
- Deep analytical skills, including understanding of how to leverage generative AI to address research questions
- Strategic problem solver
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Strong professional qualities: client focus, decisiveness, integrity, resilience to stress against stretch goals and deadlines
- Ability to work in a global, multi-cultural team
- Excellent English (mandatory).
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree (preferably in business, economics, statistics, engineering or science), plus a full-time Masters/post-graduate degree (preferably in business, economics, statistics, engineering, science, such as MBA or equivalent).
Work Experience:
- 4+ years of relevant economic research experience. Global/large private corporation or institution, research think tank or recognized research government agency.
Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina.
