Public Service team is one of the Industry Programs within Accenture’s “Global Network (GN) team, which sits under Accenture Strategy and Consulting. Our practitioners bring in right blend of strategic and operational experience and deep understanding of industry to help clients identify and address their greatest challenges in order to achieve maximum shareholder value. We provide end-to-end business services as well as individual consulting, outsourcing and technology projects around the globe in all strategic and functional areas. The PS industry group works with the following sub industries:

  • Social Services + (Employment, Pensions, Education and Child welfare)
  • Post & Parcel
  • Cities, Transport & Infrastructure
  • Public Health
  • Public Safety
  • Defense
  • Borders
  • Revenue

This role is for a Senior Manager in the Public Service Industry team within Accenture Strategy & Consulting’s “Global Network (GN) practice.

The senior manager will be focusing on the engagements across sub-industry groups within the Public Service Industry team.

The PS SM will be responsible for helping drive our PS clients’ strategy and business planning efforts. Responsibilities may include:

  • The SM will help achieve the team’s Value objectives, and Head Count & Recoverability targets
  • The SM will help build the PS Argentina practice while focusing on PS industry capabilities & clients 12-16 months.
  • The SM will develop relationships with key stakeholders such as Industry Leadership & Client Account Leads
  • The SM will help our global client teams in Market & Business Development activities, thus enabling them to increase their revenues and sales
  • The SM will be responsible for managing 1 to 3 Managers and 4 to 5 consultants directly
  • The SM will Commit to supporting innovation, collaboration, organization of team events, mentoring, learning & training and recruitment
  • The SM will work across a dynamic & international team, and travel globally to support global client work
  • Business Development:  Support global sales team to identify and win potential opportunities within the practice. Lead/Contribute to the proposal developments as an SME expert for different PS domain areas
  • Industry Experience: Provide industry expertise in various sub-segments of the PS industry
  • Domain Development:  Development of assets and methodologies, point-of-view, research or white papers for use by the team and larger community. Acquiring skills that have utility across industry groups.

Requisitos

Management Consulting and General Business Consulting Experience is a must

  • Have very good understanding of Global PS market trends, best practices and clients
  • Have very good exposure to Large Global PS Transformation programs

Client Stakeholder and Project Management

  • Leads and manages a module / part of a project within a specific area or domain
  • Works on client site with minimal supervision in his / her area
  • Interacts with clients regularly and provides specialized inputs at a functional level

Communication

  • Has good written and verbal communication skills. Can articulate and share points well
  • Shares inputs in his / her area to support a deck
  • Make presentations wherever required to a known audience or client on functional aspects of his or her domain. Is part of the larger team which presents to the client

Industry/ functional Skills

  • The Right candidate must have in depth knowledge of at-least 3 of the following PS Sub-Industry capabilities
    • Social Services
    • Cities, Transport & Infra
    • Education
    • Revenue
    • Non- Profit
    • Public Health
    • Public Safety
  • The Right candidate must have adequate exposure to any one of the of the following Industry capabilities
    • Digital Citizen Services (Grants management, low touch services)
    • Government as a platform
    • Operating Model Design
    • Business Process Reengineering
  • The Right candidate must have analytical skills to provide clarity to complex issues and gather data-driven insights
