Client Account Lead – Growth Markets
Tamae Kobayashi is Accenture’s client account lead, responsible for building and growing relationships with the world’s leading companies operating in the Growth Markets—consisting of eight market units outside of North America and Europe—to drive client value and co-innovation. She is also a member of Accenture’s Global Management Committee.
Tamae has successfully led numerous projects as the lead of multiple client accounts. She focuses on high-tech industries, including strategy planning, structural reform, launching new businesses, digital transformation and large-scale outsourcing. She is also the global client account lead for a conglomerate company and contributes to its business transformation from planning to execution.
Prior to assuming her current role in 2020, Tamae was a senior managing director with Accenture’s Communication, Media & Technology group. Before that, she led Accenture’s Management Consulting organization in Japan and was also the Inclusion & Diversity lead for the Asia-Pacific region.
Tamae joined Accenture in 1997 and became managing director in 2010. She is certified as a public accountant and a member of the Japan Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
