In this role you are enhancing vehicle performance by coordinating software updates and conducting functional tests for ECU software.

This position is available in full time and part time.

Your Mission

As an System Integration & Application Engineer you play a vital role in developing and updating ECU software to continually enhance vehicle performance and functionality. You are an all-rounder in an innovative environment, coordination and prioritizing your tasks independently.

What awaits you

  • Your main tasks include various project coordination on software and functional tests for updating ECU software (i.e. commissioning of systems and functions, error analysis, documentation and validation of test results on test racks and/or in vehicles).
  • You will perform technical analysis and be responsible for small bench and vehicle conversions.
  • Are you interested in programming? Then you are welcome to take on tasks such as programming various gateways and creating residual bus simulations.
  • In your function you are used as an all-rounder and coordinate as well as prioritize your tasks independently in an innovative environment
  • Flexible, mobile working and home office options.

Qualifikationen

What we are looking forward to

  • Completed training or completed studies as a graduate engineer or technician (m/f/x) in the field of electronics/electrical engineering, computer science or mechatronics or similar
  • Ideally already first professional experience in the automotive environment in the area of system integration, vehicle application, SiL- or HiL
  • Practical knowledge in the area of signal manipulation of CAN, FlexRay and Ethernet networks
  • (First) experience with programming and/or scripting languages (C, C++, CAPL, PERL, Java, Ruby, Python, or similar)
  • Contact points with E2E vehicle tests in the network
  • (First) knowledge in diagnostics DoIP, UDS, ISOTP, ODX, OTX, OTA (ORU)
  • Business fluent English or German
